Tournament lobby problem

Hi!

I am able to enter poker tournament main lobby and browse tourneys etc.
But when trying to enter a particular tourney´s lobby everything crashes.

Not a recent problem, been for months but finally decided to find out what is wrong.

I have deleted and re-installed software several times and used for example CCleaner. Browser is google chrome. Op. system Win 8 (I think).

After googeling found only one other who has the same prob. No solution. Might be an issue w/ a particular software that I and the other fella have. Or Wish I knew what. Maybe you know something about this.

Once again she will need to either mail or phone support and explain it to them so they can sort it out for her but she will have to do it herself.
The phone number can be found in the dropdown list in the poker lobby cashier.
Thanks

Welcome to 888poker’s Weekly Deal, with all the best news, results and insights from the past week.

THIS WEEK: October 15, 2017

“allesrigged” Claims Mega Deep Title

The $215 buy-in, $100,000 Mega Deep is always one of Sunday’s premiere events, and this week was no exception as 528 players took to the felt and surpassed the guarantee by creating a $105,600 prize pool.

Among those to earn a piece of it were Roman “Romeopro33” Romanovsky (33rd - $559.68), “ProfessorM93” (19th - $865.92), “DuduPa1986” (7th - $2,640), Troy “S.Janowski” Quenneville (5th - $5,280), and XL Eclipse Main Event and Champion of Champions winner “CllsDntMttr” (3rd - $10,771.20).

After 10 hours and 47 minutes, Germany’s “allesrigged” prevailed over Belarus’ “_Antikk_” to win $19,958.40.

James “M4zlTov” Gantz Wins Whale for $44K

The biggest buy-in of the day was the $1,050 Whale, which surpassed its $150K GTD by drawing 114 players who rebought 62 times. That created a $176,000 prize pool that was distributed to the top 15 places including Steven “Kale333” van Zadelhoff (11th - $4,224), “Madeon1994” (8th - $6,160), “floatmasta” (7th - $7,480), Artem “veeea” Vezhenkov (5th - $11,440), and “MalakiasCF” (3rd - $22,880).

After 8 hours and 35 minutes, Canada’s “INEEDPANTS” fell to Germany’s James “M4zlTov” Gantz, who took home $44,000 for the win.

“Pimmelspeck” Wins Sunday Lightning 6-Max

The $109 buy-in, $20,000 Sunday Lightning 6-Max kicked off the day in style as 163 players rebought 84 times to create a $24,700 prize pool. That was paid out to the top 24 players including “ziigmunk” (20th - $234.65), “FillipeNunes” (12th - $432.25), Artem “veeea” Vezhenkov (5th - $1,605.50), and “__APO__1” (3rd - $3,087.50).

After 8 hours and 5 minutes, Germany’s “Pimmelspeck” bested Sweden’s “Ipoo1” in heads-up play to win $5,928. If you recall, “Pimmelspeck” amassed five cashes during last month’s XL Eclipse, including seventh-place in Event #38: $50,000 Tuesday Challenge for $1,699.75. His last documented win came back on July 11, 2016 when he won the $15,000 Crocodile for $3,937.

“GangstaGo” Earns $36.30 Per Minute in Turbo Mega Deep

The $215 by-in, $40,000 Turbo Mega Deep saw 153 players rebuy 59 times, which created a prize pool of $42,400. The final table was filled with some familiar faces including Steven “Kale333” van Zadelhoff (9th - $954), “InJeBakkes” (8th - $1,166), XL Eclipse champ “germaxii” (4th - $3,604), and “kissktya23” (3d - $5,088).

After just 254 minutes, Ukraine’s Cristian “GangstaGo” Sampaoli defeated Argentina’s “progree69,” both a XL Inferno and Eclipse champ, in heads-up play to walk away with a $9,222 top prize. On March 3, 2016, “GangstaGo” won the $7,000 Lightning 6-Max for $2,207.

“LaToronja” Wins Swordfish to Go Along with Two Breeze Titles

The $30 buy-in, $25,000 Sunday Deepstack Swordfish attracted 950 players, which surpassed the GTD by creating a $26,125 prize pool. Among the 126 players to get paid were “shippyshippy” (27th - $117.56), “Pyskee86” (17th - $156.75), “Enslow15” (10th - $261.25), and “Dablinov” (5th - $1,316.70).

After 10 hours and 42 minutes, Argentina’s “LaToronja” bested the UK’s “trh16” to win the tournament for $4,702.50. In September 2016, “LaToronja” took down the $6,000 Breeze for $1,518, and more recently he won the $8,000 Breeze back on Januuary 6 for $2,085.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the $100,000 has ever been won either in the Jackpotland or the Action Squad promo.

There should be a system where we are guaranteed that at least someone will win the $100,000 prize in each promo. In fact you could put a participation entry for every scratch card a player is awarded. Then if the prize has not been won at the end of the promo, you draw a winner from those participation entries. :D

IMHO the 888 Poker will go just like UB, down and out.
They allow bots on their network or they are running those bots themselves.
If they do, just like UB, they will go out.
I suggest to you fellas to withdraw as much and as fast as you can from their network and client, or you will be sorry.

Again, just my $.02 on this issue on 888 Poker

Hello everyone,

By all accounts, the 888Live London Festival, which just wrapped 12 days of poker action at Aspers Casino Westfield, was a massive success.
Not only were the numbers big, both in attendance and prize money, but players were receptive to the introduction of the 888Action Clock, which was implemented smoothly.

as soon when you stop your BOTS playing for you against us, since I don't have another explanation why are you allowing them to infest your tables in such manner, like UB did before
You guys need to check your things before invite someone to play on your tables and spend some money on your poker client

If you want me to do your job, you have to pay me for that.
Obviously you security dept don't do their job well, since it's overcrowded with bots.
Other rational explanation is that they are your own, since you're not doing anything to stop them.
I do understand your business perspective, and since your boss Aharon Shaked sold their stocks in the 888, I am guessing because he was ashamed of those bots running on your network and you are not doing anything to stop them or running them on their own.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Again, if you want me to report all of my suspicion for bots, you have to pay me for that and give me 20% from their withholding.
Nothing is free in this world, and you can't expect from me or anyone else to do your job for nothing.

Or, keep them running on your own and you will lose more and more paid customers, and you will close the doors, just like UB did years ago.

If you suspect that any player is a bot then please report them to support@888poker.com and they will investigate and take action where appropiate.
We do not allow bots on our site.

Welcome to 888poker’s Weekly Deal, with all the best news, results and insights from the past week.

THIS WEEK: October 22, 2017

“BillyBon8” Takes Down New GREAT 8 Title

Our newest tournament, the $88 buy-in, $30,000 GTD Sunday GREAT 8, was played eight handed and started players with 8,888 in chips. The tournament drew 405 players who rebought 177 times, which created a $46,560 prize pool paid out to the top 56 players.

Among those to cash were 888poker Ambassador Chris “888Moorman” Moorman (51st for $186.24), Ivan “ivanascasubi” Vilchez (28th for $311.95), “1LevelAbove” (12th for $758.92), and “rickpereira7” (6th for $1,629.60).

After “vaitodo.pt” bowed out in third place for $4,888.80, Germany’s “SmilleThHero” and Russia’s “BillyBon8” squatted off in heads-up play.
After 11 hours and 14 minutes, the Russian prevailed to take home $8,846.40.

Last November, “BillyBon8” had a good month when he took down the $8,000 Lightning 6-Max for $2,400, and then two days later won the $15,000 Crocodile for $4,050.

“BillyBon8” Also Wins Baby Whale for $23K

The biggest buy-in tournament of the day was the $320 Baby Whale, which surpassed its $100K GTD by attracting 259 players who rebought 119 times. That created a $113,400 prize pool paid out to the top 36 players including “Madeon1994” (36th for $850.50), Parker “888tonkaaaa” Talbot (24th for $963.90), “JBA888” (11th for $1,814.40).

Some familiar faces as the final table were “DonkMaster99” (9th for $2,154.60), “samuelbt” (6th for $5,103), and Jan “Graftekkel” Arends (3rd for $12,814.20). After 10 hours and 2 minutes, Russia’s “BillyBon8” defeated Sweden’s Simon “Isildur1337x” Mattsson in heads-up play to win $23,190.30. It marked the second major title of the day for “BillyBon8” after he won the GREAT 8.

UK’s “Octopokes” Becomes Mega Deep Champ

This week’s $215 buy-in Mega Deep drew 462 players, which meant a $100,000 prize pool was on tap for the top 64 finishers. They included Preban “prebzzz” Stokkan (49th for $380), “KURDEdersim” (24th for $870), “kaiser066” (11th for $1,490), “yourpappa” (7th for $2,500), and Kevin “morans350” Gibson (3rd for $10,260).

After 10 hours and 35 minutes, the UK’s “Octopokes” defeated Bulgaria’s Yordan “YordanPetrov” Petrov in heads-up play to win a $19,000 first-place prize.
Back in February, “Octopokes” topped a field of 301 players to win the $10,000 Poker Fiesta for $2,129. In May’s XL Inferno, he nearly captured a title finishing third out of 598 players in
Event #111: $15,000 Swordfish for $1,660.

Former WHALE Champ “JBA888” Claims Crocodile Title

The $160 buy-in $30,000 Sunday Crocodile saw 167 players take to the virtual felt, which meant the top 27 got paid. Among them were “jonimella” (25th for $300), Conor “grandma1954” Beresford (19th for $300), “strangejelly” (13th for $450), “tikkapekka” (7th for $1,200), and “aap037” (3rd for $3,525).

It took 7 hours and 35 minutes, but eventually Costa Rica’s “JBA888” defeated Russia’s “MAMOHT_T” in heads-up play to walk away with a $6,450 first-place prize. Back on September 3, “JBA888” won the $120,000 Whale for $43,645.

“Groggggggggy” Adds Sunday Challenge Title to Résumé

The $109 buy-in, $60,000 GTD Sunday Challenge saw 445 players rebuy 148 times. Some of those to finish in the top 56 and make some money were “BillyBon8” (46th for $270), Niklas “tutten7” Åstedt (22nd for $582), and “shag72” (13th for $774).

Both Joao Mathias “joao_mathias” Baumgarten (7th for $1,500) and XL Inferno “germaxii” (3rdfor $6,300) were at the final table, but in the end the title came down to the UK’s “nutcracker95” and Mexico’s “Groggggggggy.” After 8 hours and 41 minutes, the latter prevailed and walked away with an $11,400 first-place prize.

Groggggggggy” now has two “Challenge” titles under his belt. Back on January 17, he topped a field of 321 players to win the $25,000 Tuesday Challenge for $6,230.

yep, you're right.
Poker Star is the best fighting bots online, on their site.
partypoker is doing good job to, everyone else doesn't have so gut security like PS & PP

PokerStars... the only site to actively fight bots!!!! The others they are corrupt and don't mind the bot grinders at all they profit either way no doubt. :)

Hello everyone,

For the most part, poker is a selfish endeavor. Players either win or lose on their own merit. It’s a lonely affair.
Because of this, players tend to come face to face with an existential quandary – what do I have to offer the world?

For many, the answer is philanthropy, and in the poker community, that oftentimes means donating to charity.
Whether it’s pledging a portion of their winnings, supporting organizations through their play (i.e. Little One for One Drop), or participating in charity events, players have plenty of opportunities to make a difference.

888poker and Chad Holloway go through major charity events within the poker world
here.
