Classic poker:
We saw an evening of classic poker last night, with close to no deals.
Sweden was on top with “Trollkonst8” and “perrymejsen” taking down the two big GTD tournaments and cashing out with $28,882 and $29,116 each accordingly.
PLUS, PSMO is just around the corner and the Swede’s are getting fired up!
888poker Ambassador, Dominik Nitsche made his 3rd Final Fable within the last 2 weeks, finishing 8th in The Whale.
A massive 787 players registered to the Mega Deep, helping to create a staggering $157,400 prize-pool which smashed the $130K GTD.
With three Swedes reaching the final 10, it was hard not to see one of them take it down – “Trollkonst8” managed to finish above all.
The Whale saw over 250 players investing in a $600 entry ticket, all gunning for that 1st place prize just shy of $30,000!
One of the final 10 was our very own Dominik Nitsche who continues in good form a week after a close back to back Octopus, and showing he means business in the upcoming XL Inferno.
When the dust settled it was Sweden at the top again(!) with “perrymejsen” beating Argentina’s “germaxii “, whilst “doctor877” finished in 3rd place.
Sunday Crocodile
Germany made it to the on top!
It took 10 hours and 53 min for Germany’s “kabotajoe” to take down the tourney and win over $13,000 after a hard fought Final Table!
It was “gingerspew” who finished as the runner up, blocking Germany’s “s4lb31p3st0” (3rd place) from closing Germany at spots 1 + 2.
Sunday Lightning 6-Max + Sunday Breeze
The popular 6-max format drew 270 players, who made 153 rebuys to create a $42,300 prize-pool, well surpassing this Sunday’s increased GTD of $30,000.
Romania’s “V.BlomFan60” finished off 30 days of some unbelievable achievements by striking a deal with “kozirok_bel” for over $8,000 each! The Romanian ended this 30-day heater with close to $35,000 profit!
702 players paid $55 entry ticket to kick off their Sunday with a Breeze.
Mexico’s “pokerfan77” stood tall, taking down 1st place to add to his remarkable Sunday. On top of winning Breeze’s 1st place we saw “pokerfan77” also winning the $25K GTD. Tornado and finishing 3rd in the $15K GTD. Swordfish, taking home a prize of almost $15,000!
Sunday Challenge 1R
After 11 hours of play, Canada’s “edbtzuk” took home a whopping $17,392 for a $90 investment!
Ukraine’s “777BMW777” and Norway’s “ShipGold” finished as runner-ups claiming $9,383 and $12,416 respectively.
Turbo & Mini Mega Deep
The Mini Mega-Deep drew 1,466 players who made 457 rebuys, creating a $40,260 prize-pool for a mere $22 investment!
We could see three Brazilians within the top five, but it was “pokerkid92” who managed to come first earning a well deserved $6,844!
In the Turbo version for the popular Mega-Deep, we saw “89rhino89” claiming the win and over $9,000!
