Don't complain, be just happy to get some opportunities.Why does 888Poker choose to use such a terrible structure in their 1 monthly biggest freeroll? (the $25,000 Fantastical Flames Freeroll that played today).
Only 30 mins into it and all stacks were under 10bb except 1.
These were the stack sizes:
3.8bb, 9.1bb, 3.3bb, 6.6bb, 3.6bb, 3.7bb, 21.8bb, 4.5bb
Seriously... this ^ is ridiculous. What could possibly be the mental reasoning behind choosing such a terrible structure for this game?
I thought it through while attempting to play it.
- have the game finish as quickly as possible so that players will jump into other games once they're done
- ??? (< couldn't think of anything else)
This is flawed though, instead they should structure the game so that 888 will increase the player traffic!
That freeroll had a decent prizepool - - 1st = $2,500+). If it LASTS LONGER... players who are playing in the tournament will then (most likely) be firing up more games from 888poker to play at the same time as they're playing that $25k freeroll.
ie. for myself, after getting donked out at the 30min. mark, I just closed the 888 site and moved on to play on other sites. (might I add... 'after feeling a tad disturbed with the structure being so ridiculous' I was more than happy to close the site and move to other sites with better games).
888poker offers more freerolls than any of the other sites these days. Why not use that money to increase player traffic? Isn't that what they're for?
At least make the Monthly Freerolls (the ones players need to qualify for) better structured.
That game today (the $25,000 Fantastical Flames Freeroll) was so stupid I probably wouldn't have played the requirements to gain an entry to it.
I'm curious as to why 888 admin./marketing, etc. doesn't bother to access (& IMPLEMENT) the ideas from their Stream Team sponsored players? I know they talk with them but I also know they don't bother to listen. The site (poker) could easily be made so much better (EASILY MADE SO MUCH BETTER!). One has to wonder why it doesn't happen.
Just see it with a more global view.
On no other poker site is it possible to built a bankroll from nothing for us German regulated players in so many ways and opportunities.
pokerstars Germans have no freerolls at all, only the 1 cent HU shootout Sundays.
GG-Poker as biggest room gives out some specials for German players like the freeroll league; Bild.de Pokernights only for German players, with T$. and the daily free game. Some other Freerolls here and there but way less than last year.
partypoker and the skins(bwin/bpremium) allowed in germany has the hourly freerolls, where you can try to win a steps ticket for some of their major tournaments.

I don't give a (whatever) about your opinion, if you want it this way.
It's their business, and they'll do what they think is best for their site in a view of which markets and options they have.
If you want to change something in their business (your desire), try to be a shareholder or try to work for them directly.
I give a (whatever you think) on a moaning or complaining guy.
Every other thing is moaning without having a more open view.

Did you read my initial post (prior to providing me with the full 2024 Update of the online poker German Freeroll schedule)?
The 'structure' in 888's Promotional $25k freeroll was TERRIBLE for the players who were participating in it. Why not make it better? Why make it terrible? It certainly doesn't benefit the site.

I'm writing here because today I had a problem updating the 888 App in ireland, I've been trying to update all day and I can't get it
I run the program, it prompts me to download, I click on it and it reaches 22% then it tries to start the lobby and the software update screen appears again
I have removed the antivirus, deactivated the firewall, removed yesterday's Windows 10 updates, but nothing works, I searched the internet but no one gave a solution, I have been playing in the living room for years
I hope you can help me

I have 2 questions.
1) Is there a way to make "remember table positioning" button work properly? I've tried different OS and different PCs, any other poker site has this function working properly, but not 888. Actually it never worked for me, since I've registered..... For example - I open 6 tables, arrange them, close them, then open new 6 tables again - they will be openinig in random screen location with random size.
2) How do block all of the spam messages that software opens? I don't want to see any spam! There is a popup confirmation window that asks me to confirm if i want to register, then another window pops up, telling me that I've registered... and additionally I will get one more window if I'll bust.... or even if I will win. I don't want to see any of these spam messages.
For example... recently I've tried to play long siessions of BLAST, playing 6-8tables at the same time non stop... I couldn't play for 1 hour straight!<<<<< I've tried several times and couldn't do that!! Conditions are terrible, software can't remember table positioninig or table size, it randomly opens new tourney window, most of the time this window has random size and placement, quite often it blocks previously opened tables, several times I couldnt place a bet or call a bet because new window opened on top of the action.
It's amazing, cause I spent years playing daily 10 -12 table sessions at other poker sites, but at 888 I can not play 1 hour long Spin session, or Blast, whatever you call these SnGs...

What do you mean? I've tried many times, "save layout" function does not work, it never worked properly. Many years ago I was shocked that it does not work on a laptop and on a PC with Windows 7, THEN several years ago it didnt work on a different laptop with Windows 10. now it's not working on a completely different laptop with Win11
The other pain - pop up noptification messagesfor registration.... there is no option in the settings to turn this off. There is "Restore Do not show me message option" in the "Game display" tab, but it does nothing.
Any suggestions?
