“BuyUADrank” Goes Back-to-Back in Sunday Mega Deep
The $215 buy-in Sunday Mega Deep attracted 331 players who rebought 123 times, which offered up a $100,000 prize pool to the top 45 players. Among those to get a piece of it were “HectorGarza” (27th - $750), “Perrymejsen” (14th - $1,250), “drupalucker” (9th - $1,750), “GramNaKartke” (6th - $4,400), and “TheColdCallr” (3rd - $11,000).
After 10 hours and 44 minutes, Romania’s “BuyUADrank” bested Greece’s “nixokoftis” in heads-up play to win the title and a $19,350 first-place prize. Amazingly, it was a rare title defense as “BuyUADrank” went back-to-back after winning the July 21 Sunday Mega Deep (454 entries) also for $19,350.
Ukraine’s “Fukuruku” Claims Rake or Break Whale Title
The $530 buy-in Rake of Break Whale had a target prize pool of $25,000, which it failed to get as 34 players rebought two times. That meant a $18,000 prize pool was created and the players received their rake back.
Among those to compete but fall short of making the money were Arseniy “josef_shvejk” Karmatskiy, 888poker Ambassador Dominik “888Dominik” Nitsche, and bubble boy “Ronaldo4112.”
After 4 hours and 48 minutes, Ukraine’s “Fukuruku” finished as the last player standing to win the $7,200 top prize.
UK’s “stup0tmac” Wins Monsoon for $2,816
The $55 buy-in Monsoon cruised by its $10,000 guarantee by attracting 205 players who rebought 57 times, which resulted in a $13,100 prize pool paid out to the top 27 spots. Some players to cash included “TopBeaver69” (23rd - $131), “golushkisss” (14th - $196.50), “johnomega1” (7th - $524), and “iGuiltuloss” (3rd - $1,539.25).
After 6 hours and 35 minutes, the UK’s “stup0tmac” bested “StrangeRogue” in heads-up play to take down the tournament for $2,816.50.
“pro210611” Wins Sunday Challenge for Germany
The $109 buy-in, $20K GTD Sunday Challenge attracted 204 players who rebought 56 times. The resulting $26,000 prize pool was paid out to the top 27 spots including “ChipsFool” (21st - $260), “alexos888” (13th - $390), “chazcombes” (8th - $780), and “velkommeninn” (4th - $2,275).
After Romania’s “Sorin19788” bowed out in third place for $3,055, the title came down to Russia’s “EconomistVLG” and Germany’s “pro210611.” The latter prevailed at the 8 hour and 41-minute mark to win the title and $5,590 in prize money.
Ukraine’s “Masian25” Weathers the Sunday Deepstack Monsoon
The $55 buy-in Sunday Deepstack Monsoon squeaked by its $10K GTD by drawing 158 players who rebought 74 times, which resulted in a $11,600 prize pool. The top 27 got paid including “guydeet39” (17th - $145), “Keatzzzy55” (10th - $203), “MaPoulet” (6th - $580), and “callmuckidis” (3rd - $1,363).
After just over eight hours in the tournament, Ukraine’s “Masian25” defeated the UK’s “bogoflo” in heads-up play to win the tournament for $2,494.

888 updater/installer Virus?
I just went to log on to 888 and it was updating. My AVG says the installer is infected with something called IDP.Alexa.51. I quarantined it.
Does anyone know anything about this?

Running an internet security scan now shows nothing but
this stuck on bottom of screen strange can not close it.

I know they say nothing is wrong, but there are some who take advantage of this known glitch (the false positive virus reading) and you can actually have the virus.. so I've been told elsewhere anyway...

How often are updates going to occur where you just lose your ability to play on tables getting blinded out and everything else seems to be fine including ability to buy in on more tables very worrying to be honest,

I just got this white screen for a table too :s I'm sure I'll be blinded out of my tournament by the time I get it fixed. I don't get my tickets half the time, I get randomly sat out while playing. It's just non stop problems with 888 anymore.

No, he's not the only one. My notes disappear often, and my colours change too.
I just re-installed and it worked, but I found it very interesting that my bank balance wasn't the same... I thought this happened before as well, but I'm 100% sure this time.
2 cents in my favour lol Either way, people's bank balances shouldn't be changing willy nilly like that..
Something is very wrong with 888 this last year or so, and it's just getting worse

Also another quirk in the new software is waiting lists for regular cash tables. Sometimes when I am offered a seat and try to take it, I get the message "sorry but this seat has already been taken by another player". Which kind of defy the whole idea of waiting lists

No wonder why everything is so slow in 888 then
Btw you probably know by now that last weekend most people DIDN'T receive casino mix-up freeroll ticket in time despite playing casino games on thursday - so what's the point of giving them on monday as they expire in less than 48h -.-
E: according to 888 newsletter there should be special tournament on tuesday so let's see cause it's not in the lobby yet ... Therefore it's probably another false information ...

I`m curious about something. I`m mostly sure that I am not the only 1 asking about this, but is there a way to lower the minimum buy-in for Poker Tournaments?
Like...I may be able to deposit only $3 not necessary $10...I`d like to have a shot at tournaments with 0.10$ every time I could deposit $3...Hope you understand me properly because English is a 2nd language for me
This thing can be implemented in the very next update for USER Preferences...to be like an individual Choice rather than the idea of lowering the standards.
If there is anything I can do about possible translations in the software Application, from English to Romanian or the vice-versa, I`d love to be of help.
