Today I asked at Skrill why it is not possible to transfer money on 888 with the master card and they wrote me, that it is not supported by master card to transfer money to casinos and gambling sites. So I guess the same is also for my usual master card from my usual bank account.

I just wonder, if I would take a visa card, if this would work at all. I would like
to have a convenient method to transfer and withdraw money to the room.
I was very satisfied before with Skrill. But since you removed that, I am really not
sure, what I should use.
Sofort has not really the best reputation here. And all other methods are completely unknown to me.
Please bring back Skrill or Paypal.

Finally, I managed to deposit there again with visa card.I was writing before, that I had some problems.... With master it was not possible and other also not....

As it seems, it is working for germany. The master card did not work from 2 bank accounts. Not very nice and comfortable fo the clients in my opinion....

I use to play at 888poker, until they disabled my account. After winning a 888live SOCHI 500k ME PACKAGE from a freeroll. Now they disabled my account and no one is getting back to me. Tried calling a number and doesn't work. All I see is 888poker, must not be a number 1 poker site in Canada. This is what they do to players. All I say my account will be closed and for what. I made deposits before and lots of them. now I stopped and played freerolls now, win them and now they keep my winnings from placing second in a C.C freeroll and void my package I won .. UNREAL

I did, and it momentarely seemed to help, but last night it happened again 3 times. Other users are reporting the same experience in forums: The lobby turn "white", everything freeze, and there is no other option than to close the poker client via the task manager in Windows and then restart.

As a quirk, once it has been restarted, all my notes and tags on other players are gone, which has also been reported by other users. Even more puzzling sometimes my tags change colour, like I applyed a yellow tag to a player, but now it show green. Since multible users are reporting this problem, I still encourage you to look into the reasons and release an update as soon as possible, which solve this issue for all your users.

Thanks for your help 888rep. They say I am transferring money to other accounts, say why would I do that. I play poker stupidly, once I have too many beers. That's why I don't have tons of money, in my account playing drunk half the time. Only having fun and relaxing from working all day. That's why I lose a lot of money to players but they say I am transferring losing on purpose which is very wrong. I play stupid cards once I drunk and if someone catches on turn or even river now I lose. but I feel I have the best hand after flop and most times right, until river and I lose. that makes me transferring funds... So wrong.

Last night it happened again, and this time I also had another poker client running. I got disconnected on both simultaneously, so I am pretty sure, it happen, when there is a temporary problem with my internet connection.

It is of course my responsibility as a player to have a stable internet connection, but it is still not ideal, that the software crashes. It should be able to reconnect, so that at least sometimes, if the connection is back again rapidly, the player still has time to react and finish the hand(s), he is playing. On the other site, it went like this, but not on 888.

go back on its advertised prize pool guarantee & payout a reduced amount based on the number of players registered?

Ok I just read the information in these game lobbies.
These games do not have any guarantees.
They have a target prize pool and the rakeback back applies to the target amounts not being reached.

As I understand it, the difference is, that time scheduled MTTs usually have a guaranteed price pool, which mean, that in principle there is a (small) chance of playing with an overlay. Like the guarantee in a 4+0,4$ event is 400$, but only 87 or 98 people register, so there is an overlay.

In this type of event there is no guarantee but rather a target, and if the 400$ target is not reached, the price pool will be 4*87=358$ or 4*98=392$, but players will have their 0,4$ refunded, so that they essentially play for free.

In the example with 87 players, players would be better off with the traditional guaranteed structure, but in the example with 98 players, the "rake or break" structure is better for players.

Either way as players we should not really expect things like an overlay to happen very often, so for me it makes no big difference. But I do think, its a fun idea, especially if it allow 888 poker to experiment with setting some more optimistic targets.

In the mac support section of the site, it says that I need to allow software to downloaded from anywhere but my MacOS doesn't have that option -- just the App store and identified developers... "from anywhere" isn't an option offered.

$1 blast game

Friday night I played the $1 blast game on 888. Normally the prize on offer is $2, occasionally $5, rarely $10. On this game the prize was $10,000. I won the game and was awarded $6,000. To say I was shocked is an understatement but hey. Thanks 888
