So, I've got like 8 bucks in my FT account and have been playing 2NL to get my bonus. Its taking about a half-hour to 45 minutes to get safely above 1 point. (thanks for the cashier hint guys).
Should I stay at 2NL and just grind it out, or risk min buy-ins at a higher limit for less time to limit my loss exposure?

Got every day covered so far, so I'm already halfway through level three. Been racking up a decent number of Academy credits at the same time as well.
I'm curious, what's a good challenge to have active at the micros to build credits?
Guy's be aware there is also another promo, get 1 pt. for the whole month and get in a special freeroll.
is this just active for the cash tables cuz i missed the second day with the take 2 promo but during that day i played in $1 tourneys...hope im still eligable for it....please tell me if i am still good .
You only need to play in 25 of 30 days to get the $50 bonus. You are fine.

Pretty much any of the cash game ones really, depending on whether you want to actually use them to work on your game or whether you just want the credits.
I've got Phil Gordon's five common hold 'em leaks one running at the moment and the tasks are hilariously easy. I completed all of them while two tabling in about 90 minutes this afternoon.
I like Bill Edler's power of position one too, but you've gotta take a lot more risks to complete the tasks in that one - it wants you to do things like floating with nothing or win three times running from the button. It's plenty doable, but might carry a bit more risk than the hold 'em leaks one.
Haven't tried many of the other cash game ones yet.
