Day 14 for me too. I am playing .05/.10 NLHM ring, during happy hour and have managed to go up a few $. First time too on keeping money in my account, seeded with Freeroll money.

Today In 38 hands I earned 5.48 points.I look for tables that have aprox. 75 hands per hour, and have an average pot over $1.00. It helps for the points to go up faster. I play these games very tight (usually) and as long as you get dealt cards, you get points.

yeah, just done my 14th out of 14, so nicely on track for this $50, and the one-a-day freeroll.
I'm quite new to cash, normally mtt/sng player, realise that there's not a lot of bluffing going on at the micro fullring. holding my own though, I guess, up a few dollars over this period

Ok 2 tables at once? 1 FTP? So if you get 1 point from one of the tables you can leave for the day? Even at that rate it seems like more of a promotion for them then the customer... How much money do you have to spend in order to keep that kind of playing commitment up? 2 tables each day for 25 days... It just seems like people will be actually be spending more money than earning it at this rate....

This is not necessarily true - it depends on the stakes you're willing to play and on your ability.

If you're a very bad player loosing 20$+ over 25 days on the micro tables easily you're right.

If you're a slighly loosing player it will pay off.

If you're a winning player anyway it's clearly a free bonus.

What else did you expect ?

I haven't lost a dime overall. Up a bit going on day 8.
Unfortunately, if I play every day for the rest of the month, I'll only get 23 days in... :(

Oh well. $25 is good too.

I like Bill Edler's power of position one too, but you've gotta take a lot more risks to complete the tasks in that one - it wants you to do things like floating with nothing or win three times running from the button.

the floating one i found floating a weak donk bet on a 2 tone flop the best option. bet out when the 3rd of the ame suit doesnt show on the turn. but the button one is super easy. if you multi table you can do it at 3 different tables for credit.

Unlike last month's biggest bonus offer, you can easily pay less rake than they are giving you to complete this.

I've gotten 9 days done, would have had more, but didn't check the promo email until the 6th, so I can't get the full bonus, but I'm going for as much as I can get. I'm not really playing any different than I was before. I'm playing the 5NL tables and making money just like always, only I am also making the little bonus on the side, which will help the roll out quite a bit.... FullTilt is my lowest roll right now.

i think i figured it out to cost about 25 cents a day to get $2 a day. that is a profit of $1.75 a day if you don't play one hand at 2nl that is.

So I've got over 15 days . . . but here's my Take 2 war wounds story.
One of my tables is a .2/.5 NL. I get dealt AK suited, good position. I'm sitting with approx. $5. I raise to .20 (4x blinds), get two callers. Flop comes 3 A 9, rainbow. I raise .30, get one caller. Now, since this guy called my 4x blinds preflop raise, I figure he has an ace with a lower kicker than I have, and probably not a 9 or 3 because he shouldn't have called with that. Turn shows an 8. I bet .5, he raises all in. I don't understand how he could have me beat, but my curiosity is killing me, so I call. His pocket cards are laughing in my face. 3 8. River doesn't help me out, and I die.

Maybe I should play on higher stakes tables with people who don't call a 4x blinds preflop raise with 3 8 off suit. And I was just trying to get my point for the day . . . *sigh*

I've just hit my 15th day in a row on this, so that's a nice $25 bonus coming my way, so far!

sorry, but the bolded is completely wrong.
I'm completely new to cash games, being a mtt/snger most of the time, but I decided to start learning them as soon as I saw this promotion.
I fire up three 5NL FR tables each day, for about 30-60 mins each time, just to hit my points. I've averaged just over 4 points a day, and have seen my br go up by just over $18 just by playing tight, and remember, Im a complete noob at ring.

Yes, but those players will also more frequently fold when they correctly read your strength, adjust to your preflop range, and just generally reduce your edge.

Move to higher stakes if you can afford it... but never stop playing with folks who call raises with 83o. ;)

See this is where they confuse me - I thought the button one had to be three times in a row all on the one table. I've managed it every time I've done the challenge (it's super easy provided you've got a couple of nits on your left) but it never occured to me that it could be done over multiple tables.

Anywho, just got myself up to the third level in the Take 2 promo, huzzah for a free $25.

Exactly, you want people to call you with 83o, especially when you move up in stakes. Don't be results oriented on this one play, just keep making it and over the long term you will profit with AK over 83o. OTOH don't fall into the common beginner trap of overplaying it either -- learn to get away from it quickly when it doesn't improve and the villains aren't folding.

Playing the penny stakes is not much if any different from freerolls, so you can expect calls with ATC as routine. Remember that to win against donks, you must tighten up a lot, playing very few hands while value betting hard on the ones you do play. Make use of strategies like traps and the "rope-a-dope" when you hit the nuts. While having a table full of donks can be highly frustrating and lead to bad play out of desperation (and hence why it's recommended to move up a few stake levels as soon as your BR allows), you should always want to see 2-3 donks at the table.

I had a similar bad hand(notice I didn't say bad beat, lol) story at the 5NL FTP table the other day doing the Take-Two with someone calling with crap. I had pocket KK and raised it up to .20, got 2 callers and the flop comes 246 rainbow, so I lead out with about a .45 cent raise and the person to my left calls and the blind folds. Turn brings a 3, and I bet .80 and the guy just calls again. River brings a 10 and I pushed for the rest of my chips, only about .90 left, and the guy calls with 45o. So he called my pre-flop raise with crap, called my flop bet with middle board pair and a straight draw, and then hit it on the turn. Oh well though, can't expect much at the micros. Came back later on and got my money back from him plus some, so at least it ended up working out in the positive.

One things I've noticed, don't know if it was this way before the Take 2 promo or not since I seldom played $10NL on Full Tilt but over half the table buys in for $2 and a lot of the time they won't do a normal raise but go all in.

With so much folding to any raise, even a 10 cent one, it takes me far more hands to get the 1 point than it should.

Maybe I need to play later in the day when it's more Americans and less Russians/Ukranians/Poles.
