BetOnline is trying to steal $65,000 from me (&cliff notes)

How will you make use of the HHs once you have them? .... bear in mind the site claims that they fit the criteria for chip dumping.. you emailing back and claiming they dont wont change that.

Its not like a scammer would say "oh fair cop" and leave it there.

Nor will a legitimate person be able to show that they are not evidence of chip dumping.

They actually serve no purpose.

because they are completely necessary to prove to the regulatory authority/a third party with power (e.g. SPR) that he wasn't actually chip dumping so he can mount a case against them. additionally, it proves to everyone following his threads that he is innocent and they can then make an advised decision whether to stop playing on BetOnline or not

Pretty clear that you cannot trust any of these US facing sites based in island countries oversees. My distrust of Carbon and others in the US still has made me nearly quit playing entirely more than once already. If FTP can NOT send you your money then anybpdy can get away with it if they want to.

So, if you were in this situation, you wouldn't be keen to see the hands where you are allegedly cheating? Also, do you not think it is suspicious that they won't send them? It seems to me if they truly believe he was cheating they would send the HH's, so the fact that they aren't seems a tad fishy to me

Update: Still have not recieved any hand histories from BetOnline. SBR still says they are in contact with management and are working on my case but do not have a final word yet.

Because they think you have been chip dumping( I assume this is the reason), have you been in touch or tried to see if the other players have been playing on the site recently?

Surely these people would of made threads being high stake players on 2+2 or P5 forums claiming they have been banned and had their money confiscated as you can't really "cheat" on your own but if involved in your hands etc then surely these might well of been banned.

Obviously if you don't know then contact support again and ask in what reference and who with and see their response..

see that is total BS ... 1st they should welcome high rollers ... you should have gotten a free nite at the virtual bet online resort ... how can these sites be hurting for money, i don't get it ... they rake every pot ... they get buyin fees ... they should be rolling in dough .... while tens of thousands is a lot of money to some of us folks here ... to them it should be pennies ... this seems believable to me ... sometimes these stories sound fishy ... altho ... ha, a savvy rep. from another casino could put something like this out there ... but in the end they would just be creating another black eye for online poker in general

I have been busy the last couple of weeks and missed this thread. I can not believe a site wouldn't send you your complete hand histories or at least send the hands they suspected you cheating. The whole idea that you could use these hands later to chip dump "better" doesn't ad up. I could understand if this was say $65 but $65k is enough money they need to send the histories. Why would a site not want to make public their ability to protect players from fraudulent activity, especially at this level. It would be one thing if the site was claiming that someone found a way to fraudulently put money on the site and dump said funds to greg but i do not believe this is the case.

Why do you not have the hand histories? It has been asked several times i don't think it was ever been answered. Can you not use a HUD? (edit: just read pt3 and hem are not compatible with betonline)

Ask them to provide the suspected cheats user names. One person can not be guilty of a crime that requires co conspirators. If you could prove you requested this information and they said they wouldn't disclose the names of the other parties it could help prove your case.

Also why not release a screen name from a site you can no longer play on like ftp.

SBR got back to me this morning saying that my review is taking longer then expected ... I still have not recieved any hand histories from BetOnline and continue to get new excuses. I will be posting in my 2+2 thread today all of my live chat and email communication that I have had with BetOnline so everything will be public now.

As regards to some of the questions being asked
1) Sorry if I have not answered this before but I thought I had; HUD are not compatible with BetOnline so that is why I was not using one.
2) They have refused to release the hand histories or give out any "evidence" of my cheating.
3) I have expanded and got new people and forums involved so hopefully I have a better chance of seeing my $65,000.

Will keep this updated as often as I can

MAJOR NEWS AND UPDATE: I will be posting this in all of my threads. A few days ago I got a PM from someone of 2+2 saying they had the same story as me. I ended up talking to this person and his name is Jamin Stokes and he is a well known professional poker player. I promised I would not release this information or his name until he told me I could do so because he asked me not to do so. He also was going to go public with his story today if he did not get an answer by today. This exact same thing happened to him. They froze his account accused him of chip dumping and would not send him the hand histories. Luckily he was more fortunate than me and today he was able to get them to unfreeze his account. He personally told them about my situation and how it has taken longer for me and he said the manager said that he would personally look into it right away. This sounds like amazing news but I will not be too optimistic until I am able to touch my money. Thank you Jamin Stokes for letting me post your name publically and helping me out in this situation.

I've heard of other players saying this about some sites, but never for this amount of money....this is why I've yet to make a deposit since I went back to playing online a few months ago.

That's great news Greg! Have they provided you with an explanation for the delays? Proper reasons for the freeze in the first place and the HH's that you requested?

I'm assuming now that this has been concluded that they would send you the full HH, or at the very least the ones in question for you to go over yourself in order to prevent this in the future.

Last question: Are you going to continue playing there (please tell me you're not) or are you going to move to another site?

1) They have provided no explanation yet or sent the hand histories. I would hope after all of this I would get the hand histories or atleast get an explanation of why my account was frozen in the first place and after asking for hand histories for two straight weeks they were never sent. I am not holding my breath though ...

2) I do not think there is any chance I would ever play their again unless there is one hell of an explanation given to me why this all happened or they offer me a really great deal or something like that in order to keep playing with them. Even then I am not sure if I would play their again.
