Hello ACR,
I'm curious as to the qualifiers for the Moneymaker promotion; all of the information stated that the final set of qualifier tournaments was to end on Sunday July 4th. Yet, in the Moneymaker lobby, I see that there are still qualifier tournaments going through Friday July 9th. Did the brass at ACR add another week of qualifiers? so there will be more than 360 qualifiers that will resume play on July 11th? Where can I find the July 11th tournament lobby? just want to make sure my name is in the mix; happy to have qualified.
Cheers,

KiTomAn

Hi, indeed the promotion ends on July the 4th, all other qualifier tournaments will be removed after this coming sunday, if there is any in the lobby, soon will be removed.

I appreciate your feedback and report and wish you the best of luck!

Thanks but this issue was on your end. I am surprised you guys haven't been made more aware. It was all people were talking about for a few hours today at your tables and in your tournaments, several guys I was playing with said they had to reset at the end of every hand, mine was not that bad. It has not been happening lately though so who knows.

I'm happy that you follow my recommendation. :icon_sant

I have a thought on being fair to the players that are seated and ready to begin their tournaments on time. To deal with players that sign up for a tournament and then never show up.

On a 9 person table, we only usually only have one or two hands before the blinds go up.

May I suggest that the game setup includes that each player is place in the "sit out" mode. Then as each player takes their seat, they can put themselves into the game. Thus eliminating the count down clock that tends to be distracting to those actually at the table.

Also do this at each break for those that come back late. This will speed up the game, decrease frustration, keep momentum running (for those on a streak), and maintains the time clock for if and when the player returns.

Hi! Thanks for your feedback, I will forward it to the right department.
Good luck at the tables! -

Hi! We don't have shootout tourneys at the moment but you can give it a try to our Venom Blitz Steps which are similar. Thank you! -

That's a nice suggestion. As a player who likes to maintain a big time bank (TB), I dislike finding my TB wasted at the start of the tournament and after breaks. That's not a good time to use a TB. Even when a player is logged in and not sitting out, they are often AFK at such moments.

Fortunately for me, I am using a convenient option in
Settings->Playing Tools->Gameplay: Auto-engage time bank
I think it was checked by default. I have it unchecked. This way my TB is wasted only when I click on a button manually.

Unfortunately for you, the default choice is not in your favor, so you have to wait the people wasting their TBs. If it was unchecked by default (Opt-In), people may not know that they must click on a button in order to engage the TB, so I think the pre-emptive Opt-Out (checked by default) is a good choice for this option. This can be improved by adding a second Opt-In below:

☑ Auto-engage time bank
☐ also at the 1st hand after tournament breaks

This option would be grayed out if the one above isn't checked. It would allow one to use their TB automatically after breaks, if they wish so. Since it's unchecked by default, it would alleviate your issue. If a person takes a manual action during the hand, like any button click/press, I think the option should be ignored, so the auto-engage would work as expected for people not being AFK. Regardless of whether the second option is checked or unchecked, I think the behavior of the auto-engaging TB at the start of the tournament should be the same as if it's the first hand after break and everyone has the second option unchecked. I just don't see any reason why one would want to waste their TB on the very first hand of a tournament.

Although the requirement to click on a Sit-In button at the start of the tournament could work for that 1st hand, I think it wouldn't work well for the 1st hand after breaks. There are situations when one needs to extend the break period with their TB. The 5 minute break is seldom long enough. If you are in late position and you have a big TB, it can be long enough.

Thank you for your feedback.
I was not aware of any option already existing.
Your last paragraph, you mention the sit out might not work after the first hand. But that is really what I am looking to do, is to place everyone in "sit out" at the start and after breaks. This will at least let those sitting continue without out them. You also said that sometimes we need an extra minute or two after break and this would fit that nicely. If you are not back and seated, having placed yourself back into play, this would just skip over you and no tb is wasted.
I would think that I am not alone when I say that I have been on a good streak just before break, and when we come back we are a little excited to continue, but then we wait in frustration as the tb run dry for a couple of people (that show up just as the clock runs out).
I think the excitement of keeping the momentum is tainted a little by having to wait. Especially if we have landed a semi questionable set of cards. Sitting and thinking it over and over and over, I think most of us would lose the lucky feeling and start getting doubts, then fold.
I think this would have the same effect as live play. Either you are sitting and ready to play when it is your turn or your cards are automatically mucked.

Moneymaker tournament

So the last two moneymaker tournaments I have finished 69th and 57th and received a combined 12 points on the leaderboard. There is no way that can be correct. I finished 69th in one of these same tournaments and received around 25 points earlier this week. I just want to know if there is a problem on ACR's end to see if I am going to qualify for the end tournament?

Is it possible to still place 'player notes' on a player's avatar on the tables?

I haven't played on ACR/BlackChip (Winning network) in quite some time. Today I'm playing the Cardschat $3.30 game. I still have some existing notes & colour codes on some of the players but don't seem to be able to add any new ones (or edit the old ones).

Hi! Only the top 5 scores you get through the contest are taken into consideration, meaning that if you already had them and then you play more tournaments and in one of them you get a better score the lowest one will be replaced for the new one you just got. That's why you don't see the total amount of points being added to your total score, but a fraction which is the difference between the lower of your top 5 scores and the new one you just got.

Hi! Yes, that function is still available, all you have to do is click over the player that you wish to put notes on and that will give you the option to do so.

I have several question regarding private tournaments.
1) How much does it cost to make a tournament?
2) On your website it says "Buy-ins for all tournaments (not subject to change): $1.6" does that mean you can only create tournament with $1.6 buy in?
3) The prize pool is taken from your account?
4) How long it takes to make this tournament?
5) Can i make a tournament series?
Thanks.

Hi and apologies for the long wait, I've escalated your concerns to the tournaments department and they responded to all inquiries:

1. It's free, you just need to send your request to Customer Service.
2.Yes, you can only create a $1.5 + $0.15 buy-in tournament.
3.No, because these events have no GTD prizepool and they are on demand as well, so you can play it whenever (they need 6 players to start).
4.There is no specific ETA as we work upon Customer Service's requests.
5.You can create only one event per request but not a tournament series, that option is not available.

Hope this information helps!

Getting error message (502)

I tried playing the cyclone steps on my phone last night . I say tried for a reason .... I started by sitting there waiting to be dealt in for I'd guess was 20 minutes before finally I got sat. I ended up folding and it swooshed me away to the waiting for other players ..... Well, after another 20 min I clicked the home button to check how many players were playing on that step (Step 1) it showed I think lowest was 8 and up to 17 players ( I would go back in and wait to be dealt in and after a bit back to the home screen) So after I'd say around 55 minutes of this, I clicked on take my seat but this time is popped up a message box saying ; "Your request has been interrupted. Please contact customer support ((502)).

Can you please get this fixed? I have contacted support through email numerous times only getting copy and paste bot automated replies and the very few real person replies never respond back after the first generic reply!

First off stop calling it "Live Chat" ... Is not live in any way shape or form! There is never ever ever the possibility of a real person getting on the other end of the chat other than the customer needing support! It's a bot and not even a half way crappy one, is worse than that would be! It is utterly and completely useless not to mention just an absolute infuriating and fatuous! Why not take some of your insanely outrageous rake profit and actually set up a damn support department with live chat WITH A HUMAN REPRESENTATIVE! And an actual phone number to call so players aren't waiting days for a resolution! Which by the time you actually do receive any meaningful support there's no point anymore because the tournament or series etc is finished! And you guys need to seriously stop putting that stupid command on the client to open a damn browser tab to landing page when the client is closed out! That's absolutely ridiculous not to mention is behavior of a shady greedy untrustworthy type site not of a legitimate professional transparent trustworthy gambling site! Second stop allowing seating scripts especially in tournaments! And fix the scrolling of the games available, you swipe or barely roll the wheel and it just start freezing and then scrolls then stops then goes really fast but it doesn't stop ... It scrolls the whole list or half or 3\4 of the list etc .... I mean seriously who the hell is responsible for the sloppy sloppy bloated coding and webhooks not to mention graphic design I mean come on you guys raking in profits (pun intended) but everything you do loudly screams that you are greedy and unconcerned for your customers experience of gameplay nor safety and obviously could care less about actually stopping the ramped cheating going on because you do the very very bare minimum at the bare minimum cost ! Abs it's showing more and more lately! My last bit of this diarrhea rant is ..... IS THE ONLY REASON YOU WON'T MAKE A MOBILE APPLICATION WITH FULL FEATURES AVAILABLE BECAUSE....... OF ....... this is where you give an actual answer like a normal person and not that scripted blanket statement that just goes to further provoke customers that are already fed up with the above mentioned shortcomings! I lied .... One more.... Stop putting the font for some games in golden yellow or whatever color that is along with the RED ! Ugh makes it so hard to actually read clearly!

You guys make me seriously question and consider moving from my state of California to one where I can play on any other site of quality other than ACR .... That day when online poker is finally legally allowed in California etc will be the first of ACR's last days !

Please just do what we all already know what you are going to say and do - can you message me you username and email ... Then you'll say I have escalated your issue with a ticket to the related department blah blah ...

I don't know why the people in charge of y'all's decision making process for your software still have jobs but could someone please talk to the people responsible for these decisions and talk to them about going back to being able to see the player names before you sit down at a ring game? I am tired of sitting down at tables and playing one or two hands just to have the same few people get up and leave as soon as they turn a profit, especially if you are heads up. The entire premise you guys have behind it to begin with is asinine anyway. What casino have you ever been in when you walked in and couldn't see who you were playing against before you sit down at the table?

I'm also not a fan of the anonymous pre sitting feature. I understand the need to protect people from bum hunting but it should be done in a way that still allows some game selection.

At the very least the ability to see stack sizes.
