Just checked the Jackpot website schedule. They show one scheduled tomorrow (Sunday) at 18:30 GMT+1 (whatever that works out to be, time-wise, 2:30 EST ???)

Ditto the CC sentiment and some other friends.

Also, one more thing. I was thinking freerolls so forgot about the 0.55¢ On-Demands. These are not listed either.

Thanks for confirming, Shady Slim. If anyone wants to check it out for themselves, the On-Demands In-Demands are listed under the Sit&Go tab and are running regularly. Buy-ins start at $5.50. If you check under the Tourney/Freeroll tab, all other freerolls are listed as usual (CC, THR, TDD etc.) but On-Demand Freerolls are gone.

Perhaps ACR Rep can confirm? Have $10 On-Demand Freerolls been eliminated permanently?

Another thing too. Minimum buy-in for a GTD tournament is now $3.00 + .30. No more of those little 10 centers I just love to throw a bucket of dimes into, let alone the 50 centers and $1 I play.

WTF, are the little guys getting squeezed out now? If I lay out $3.30, will the tournament get cancelled 2-1/2 hours into the thing?

For the past couple of weeks I have done nothing but support ACR here. Now my feathers are getting a little ruffled. Right now, at this moment, I want to play in a tournament. But there are none that I can get into without busting my BRM.

Mine has been pretty much come and go, although I have not re-downloaded even once, through this, just did something else and it was back later...


I have so far been in maybe 8 or ten tournaments, all on demand rolls, this past week ... that have closed early only the last Jackpot Freeroll... at least I didn't play hour and a half or two in that one lol ... I did register for it, but then it was Like 6 pm Central time and everything died for me at ACR and when I did get logged back in there were no tourneys listed .... There is a scheduled Jackpot Freeroll at ACR Tommorow .... not for sure, but I believe that 2 : 30 pm EST tomorrow is a good hack ... we'll see if this one starts : ) trying to remember if I'm -5 or -6 ( Crosses fingers and toes ) hhaha​

I was typing a post right after yours came in. Missed it. Yep, they are all gone too.

At least with the $10 freebies you could play. Didn't really matter if the f'ers were cancelled along the way -- I need my fix!

Per their website, it is on the schedule for that time. It is not on the ACR schedule right now. Anybody's guess if it will be there.

True that. Jackpot Freerolls site still has full May/June schedule for their ACR freerolls but they are no longer on the ACR schedule. BOL always shows a limited schedule of freerolls and have a JP freeroll for Tuesday. It is ACR choosing not to schedule these.

I don't know how much of this becomes permanent. Only time will tell. ACR has not been very good at adding any suggestions made by players to the software. Changes are almost always bad for the small players and good for ACR. Changes we ask for and want are on some list somewhere gathering dust.

Based on the actions of all USA facing sites over the last year and a half, do NOT expect anything positive. Virtually all of them are moving towards lottery poker with more chances to lose promising some huge payoff that rarely happens but every cent of which is an added charge to each pot played.

Color me not interested. I like freeze out poker without rebuys, addons, or late registration. All 3 of which were invented to offset overlays. Lottery poker. IMHO.

Wait and see. The only option offered to us by a site that is in trouble. External attacks on operations and internal, ever increasing dis-satisfaction from the players.

Like most of the folks here, I have almost ZERO faith in those who can actually make a decision or change at any of these sites. They have never demonstrated a knowledge of poker or poker players. They are greed driven and bean counters. Their toothless customer service systems prove this every day.

If you reach someone who can make a decision, you find it almost always is no. Thank you, CC, for the opportunities you provide old school players to play a simple freeze out game of holdem.

Good move ACR on suspending mtt’s. On demands make sense because they have a chance to be played out before another attack, but I’d like the micro games back.

That CC freeroll was just cancelled. There were 18 of us left and we chopped the chips. I thought I was going to lose on the deal, but made an additional 81 cents -- so that is something.

Suspended Tournaments

Why would you suspend and cancel tournaments that are in the money and then have more tournaments running within a half hour? Why wouldn't you let play resume on the previous tournaments?

I was able to log onto ACR right now. The site is active with players and players are registering for cash games and tournaments. I dont know how long it will last, I have not been able to log on for 2 days.

Hello, SS. No slight intended. I almost never use chat when playing. I do reply if I notice someone commenting on a hand just played. But I leave chat boxes off and turn game info on. At times I am multi-tabling and simply don't have time. Apologies.

Yesterday. And for the forseeable future. Reducing server work load. Some on CC have thoughts it might be permanent. Only time will tell. All other USA facing sites seem to have reduced or eliminated their own freerolls. Thank you, CC, for filling that void.

Read a few of the posts immediately above yours. The ACR Rep will know last because we will see them if and when they return on the game client before the Rep is informed by the "BOSSES". Check out those posts above since Saturday.

ACR is a great poker site so far. When I use to play at 5 years ago there we more freerolls at poker site so you could start a bank roll. Great site though

I am really disappointed in suspended freerolls. Trying to start a bankroll w/o depositing any money. Disappointed that under 'promotions', it is still listing 24/7 $10 freerolls. The twitter feed hasn't been updated for 22hrs and is just updating suspended tourneys etc....nothing else.
Right now I am trying to focus on tournaments online @ live. I have just under $6, which isn't much on a bankroll.
