I want to tell you that since a few months ago, I started playing at ACR and I really feel very well on this site, I would like to propose that you consider the possibility of opening a school and opening a league tournament with levels ... I think that would be a great alternative for all of us players ...!

Added incentive

If memory serves me correctly, there are 10 million visually impaired people in the United States. If 1% of them want to play online poker and ACR is the only site compatible, well you can do the math.

I received 2 separate emails with "Ticket numbers" in them. NEITHER one of those numbers worked as a password.
I received NO EMAILS with the words "here's the password", OR any emails with the word "password" in them.

That's why I went to Live Chat, then emailing, then calling the phone number....
and it was YOUR Support team in LIVE CHAT & on PHONE SUPPORT that told me...
I had to contact THEM every week to get registered.

anywhoooo....
it is what it is.

I still like the site.
Just not that frustration.

That's weird, normally the system sends you the password for the Freeroll. I already reported this, if the system doesn't send you the email again please contact me so I can check this with the email department. Also, if you need to be register contact the CS department so they can register you directly.

Hey all just curious if anyone else has this issue. I log into ACR but the next screen (usually a splash screen) never comes up and I can't click on the poker lobby or anything within ACR its like it is frozen see vid here:

http://recordit.co/IWoyWdw2CD

Note: as I am moving the mouse I am left clicking trying to access one of the lobby options, or cashier and nothing works until I click on the advert and it opens a webpage.

This happened a couple months ago and I contacted tech support but they couldn't help. Then I logged into a spare PC installed ACR and it worked with my account,. So I figure this is not really ACR issue, as it is something specific to my PC. Strange thing is it started working again last week and then stopped again today (it did work Saturday).

So has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks for any input you can offer

Thanks

Let's do the following could you please open the poker application again, then press Alt+Tab (it will open a box with all the windows you have open, check if there are another ACR windows open, if yes please close that window and then go back to the poker application and click on any tab) Let me know if it worked.

Downloaded the app on my laptop and registered like they told me but when I tired to pull it up on my other device like they said I could afterwards, I still could not open the website from my other devices.

Could you please take a screenshot of that error message so I can check it with IT.

Hi Ace,..

Yes, it happens for me at times also. When I first downloaded the site I had to change some program settings on my laptop. ACR's Live Support over the PHONE walked me right through it. Took about 15 or 20 minutes with them on the phone with me, if I remember right. ((i've got this..selective memory thing going on))

Now..with that said..
it still happens on occasion on my old laptop I use.

It's usually my wifi connection OR that I have been playing for a long time online.

I will play on 3 different sites at a time sometimes and don't want to close out the game, or games, to keep the "cache" on my computer cleaned.
I have an old pentium laptop with CC cleaner on it, I run that to clean the system it will work fine after that if the reason is my computer just needs to be cleaned.

BUT.....the MOST common reason for me is the internet connection. I'm on an open wifi network that's setup by the neighborhood I live in.
FREE INTERNET IS A BONUS!! :D
But at times the connection will be weak depending on the weather conditions, and I get that EXACT SAME issue going on.
Most times it will load up...it will just take forever.

My very simple cure for that is....tethering into my phone and using it's internet.
Works every time.
I've NEVER had an issue when tethered into my phones internet. The site works great on it. BUT...I've got unlimited data on this phone. So I don't recommend it for anyone that has a data limit that can run up phone fees if they go over it.

If you're on the same internet connection using the 2 different computers, I would suggest TELEPHONING Live Support on ACR.
IF....those 2 different computers are using the same internet connection, it is most likely just settings in the one computer.

Those guys on the Phone Support have really helped me out of some fixes when I first got on the site. I'm only using Live Chat support now for simple issues like....hey I WANT TO YELL AT SOMEONE BECAUSE MY TOURNAMENT JUST LOCKED UP!! :aetsch:
They bear with me well in those situations.

Which happens intermittently on any online poker site.

Try calling live support on the phone.
AND...do an update here, I'd be interested in knowing what the fix was.
Knowledge is powerful...lol.
And I have lots of log folders with things like this in it.

GOOD LUCK ON THE TABLES ACE!!!!
Robert.

Thank you very much for the heads-up! :)

You are right! The Management department is going to check this possibility. If they send me an update I will write it here. Once again, thank you very much!

Wow this is why I probably won't play on WPN unless there new software (in 3-4 months..... :/ ) is the bees knees.

A poker network that doesn't have the general interests of its entire community in mind is a failing one.

BBJ tables, The Beasts and outdated software have caused this site to have low traffic.. They still only addressed the software which is nice, but it's ETA is 3-4 months away which is hardly worth getting excited over.

That's my two cents
So what’s your opinion on the best site?

Hi Acrep - yes I have done that and did so with support on the phone a couple months ago. Nothing else showed up. I also closed all my Apps. And killed the pokerclient.exe process in task manager. I also rebooted my PC, and also attempted to re-install the App numerous times without success. Then after giving up for a week or two I tried again and it worked. Ill try Rob just suggestion. If its a speed issue it should hopefully resolve with a network reset, of course today when I went to test it, I got in without issue :) So will have to wait till it fails again to do more troubleshooting but will update when and if it occurs again.

Thanks

Call The Telephone Number for Support.

Hello, it doesn't read an error, what happens is when I download it I go to open it and all it reads 'cannot open file. I've tried to do this on both of my devices that I play with BOL but I just can't seem to download and open the ACR app.

Did you call the phone number for ACR Support like I told you to? :questionm

I will repeat in case you didn't see my first reply to you.....

I had the EXACT same problem when I downloaded the ACR program on my laptop.
The Telephone Support man stayed on the telephone until my settings were set correctly. I haven't had a problem since.

I had BOL working good, but ACR would not open up.

Calling the Support Telephone number fixed it.

good luck,
Robert.

Let me know which Antivirus do you have, I think that the antivirus is blocking the application. What you should do is go to the antivirus settings and then make an exception for the ACR app.

Both my ACR & BlackChip accounts have been dormant for almost a year now (ever since the day the update occurred that required players to have Win7 or newer).I'm planning on firing up a new puter I have and am wondering if I should be in a hurray about it (ie. is there any penalty if your account has been dormant for a specific length of time?... I know some sites I've played on in the past would penalize players who hadn't logged in after 'x' amount of time.

thanks

I know your not asking me specifically, but I happened to be looking at their ToS (https://www.americascardroom.eu/poker-customer-support/terms-and-conditions/) today and saw something about dormant accounts. I think if it hasn't been quite a year, then you are good. I just looked again and here is what it says:

9. DORMANT or INACTIVE ACCOUNTS/ACCESS FEE: On or after the last day each calendar month, ACR shall be entitled to suspend any User account which has not had any log in activity or game play for the prior 12 month period. In such event, the balance of any funds balance in said account(s) shall be retained by ACR in a pooled segregated suspense account and maintained for a period of 60 days thereafter. ACR shall give notice to the User that his/her account has been inactive for more than 12 months. . Such notice shall be conclusively presumed to have been received by the User if sent by ACR by email to the email address of record provided by the User for said account. In the event that a User has opted – out from receiving emails from Americas Cardroom, User shall be deemed to have waive any and all notice hereunder , In the event that a User shall validly claim said balance of suspense account funds within the 60 day holding period, ACR shall verify the identity and entitlement of said claimant (if any), may require an account holder to execute a written acknowledgement of any deposits funded by credit cards, and, thereafter shall pay the portion of the suspense account due to such User. At the expiration of the 60 Day Holding Period, all such balance amounts which remain unclaimed in the suspense account without an active log-in for another period of 3 months shall escheat to ACR as an Access Fee and compensation for account maintenance and having provided User access to the Games during the 12 months prior to the Holding Period. The balance of funds in any User account closed by ACR due to User misconduct, fraud, or collusion may be seized and each such User shall forfeit any and all interest thereto. In the event that ACR shall receive notice that a User has died within the prior 12 months, the account balance(s) of such User shall be held pending presentation of proof of authority to claim such funds by the Executor or other authorized representative of the estate of the deceased User. In the event that a claim is made to ACR for an account balance by any person other than the User, ACR may require such claim to be proven in a court of law; any legal action by said claimant to prove such claim must be filed within 6 months of the date of such claim.

What is the difference between America's Cardroom, Black Chip Poker, and Ya Poker. All three appear to using the same software client, but with different branding.

Do all three host the same tournaments, cash tables, etc.?

thanks. Glad I posted.... but still didn't set up the new computer :( (too busy working as usual)

I actually tried to login on my tablet ~6mos. ago but wasn't able to get onto my account. At the time I figured it was just a glitch or something and didn't pay it much attention as I figured I would eventually be back on a computer with an up-to-date operating system. Well things didn't pan out for me until just recently. Just now I went to check on my previous activity (via SS) and see my last time on ACR was Mar.26/2017 and for BlackChipPoker I think it was even longer ago than that.

ACR Rep. I believe I need your help sir! (will try to get my new puter functioning tomorrow).

The tournaments section is not working? Could you please be so kind and take a short video so I can see how the poker application is working on your side. This is the first time I heard this issue.
