You really giving up WVH? I've got 110k points on FT right now, but I was hoping to save up and get one of the black card bonuses...

Grr. Just played some poker cause I was bored and went up 2 buyins. I would like to be able to cash out my roll sometime!

Hard to clear a bonus when you can't play. If we get back someday it doesn't take long to build up points. I earned 160K of those points since the end of January and I hardly play at all. BC bonus points and Happy Hour add up fast. So if the worst thing that happens out of this is I lose $200 in rakeback eventually and only get $350 in value out of those points instead of ~$600 from a BC bonus, it'll be a great result.

How'd you get the store to load WVH? The cert is invalid. Can you get to it via the web somehow?

I used google dns too, but when I try to go in the store I'd get a insecure connection complaint and a retry button rinse... repeat...

Really sorry for you guys in the US though, big time. Poker means a lot to all of us, sucks that the US government denies you the right to play. hope its sorted soon.

BTW if this is actually true and USA players will never be able to play again.. this would be the official end of the "poker boom."

Not so, imo. There are lots of perfectly successful poker sites (Party, Ipoker, Ongame etc.) that don`t have a single American player and haven`t had for years.

This is all terrible news for our American friends and fellow-CCers, but there is no need for the rest of us to get in a sweat. Poker will go on and good sense will eventually prevail in America, just as with Prohibition.
