I just read another thread and it sparked a thought. You reckon Carbon and the Merge network haven't been mentioned in the DOJ or whatever it's called because they don't got dirt on them from that Australian guy?

If so, is that a reason to assume they are safe? They are after all going after the big sites for fraud/money laundering and it's only supposedly been possible to serve the indictment because he can supposedly trace back transactions to processors and what not.

I withdrew my entire Merge BR today, because I don't think DOJ will stop at this point if they get anything to go after them. I messaged Lock since their 24/7 chat was offline (big surprise) asking what their status was and if my w/d would go through, and got an email a bit ago saying they have no intention of exiting the US and w/d's will be processed as usual. I can only hope, since that's where the vast majority of my BR was at.

It may just be that you had logged out. Those of us who have been logged in since the evening can still play, but I'm sure logging out will cut us off. Updates normally aren't required to block people -- Stars client wasn't updated, they can just geo-block IP's on the fly.

As for the other sites they are "safe" at the moment because the DOJ doesn't have evidence. If they had some or were close to getting it they wouldve waited until they couldve seized them all.

I didn't say all the cash players were going there... I probably won't either. but some people love poker even if it's just for fun.

Other than the CC League games which are moving to play money, which aren't about the money, I totally agree. Just can't take it seriously.

On the bright side, I've bought about 20 video games over the last 2 years of playing poker that I never installed or even removed the shrinkwrap from, plus have loads of pet projects I've put on hold, all because I spend most of my free time playing poker (since it produces income, ldo). Now I finally have an excuse to sort through and clear some of that backlog...

Looks like the camera sells regularly for between $550 and $600 on ebay and the kid will like the new balls. Certainly not the most optimal use of points but with no RB hit (haha mother ****ers!) it's not horrible.

ya don't close FTP. you'll be forced to download an update - the update blocks US players from real money games.
