Well, I guess my mind is a little at ease that the transfers are blocked, I have been sitting here killing myself with the decision of whether or not I should move tilt funds.
If US players cannot get back on after all of this, it is going to crush me.

LMAO at the Chip Dump City, I needed that.

Hearing people aren't able to cash out on Stars - maybe too many people trying at once?

HALO REACH, GET SOME!
HAHA I love this game!!I'm jealous.. I have a xbox live account, but no xbox lol. My friend is letting me borrow his while he is going on his honeymoon at the end of this month tho! I really need to buy one myself, but I'd never stop playing it, and he ends up coming over here at least once a week, mostly twice a week, since he isn't able to get high speed internet at his house anyway. I think 2 halo reach all nighters a week without even owning an xbox is enough tho.. why i havent bought an xbox... i'd probably never sleep...lol

sorry off topic

fwiw, I don't think anyone has to worry about their money, I am sure if the sites go down, when they come back up, if US players cannot play, I am sure they will let us withdaw.
There will probably be great delay though.

Yeah didnt they do the same thing at pp years ago, and sized all the money there, but eventually everyone got their money back.

It might have been a little different,as I wasn't around online poker then, but i'm not sure

BTW if this is actually true and USA players will never be able to play again.. this would be the official end of the "poker boom."

PS and FTP will rescind their sponsorships to TV shows and there will be no more poker TV shows and the only poker left would be in casinos... where less and less people would show.

He is - but his PS acct is here and he can't open a Moneybooker's account or do anything that a US resident can't do.

We will be in the UK in 2 weeks so if we can access our accounts from over there we might be able to get something done. Joe does have a UK bank account.

Yes, thus far seizures have all been returned to players AFAIK... eventually. It can take months, and I believe there are some high-rollers from past seizures who never quite got it all back. Historically, the DOJ has never gone after the poker players and tend to view us as "victims" of the evil poker sites who steal our moniez, so they do tend to try and get us paid. Eventually.

Did I mention eventually?

I just spoke with the customer service rep at bodog and he assured me they are in the clear with this. I still took out 3/4 of my funds just to be safe. I feel horrible for all of you. I hate our government!!!

They'll bring out state sanctioned online rooms, as they have been doing in states already, which will be legal but taxed and wouldn't be surprised if they were American online.

Hearing cash out buttons working again

Ben - I'd imagine it's something to do with the knowledge given to them by the processor turned informant

He has to say that, and Bodog would be the last to know if they were next.
I do not think that they are, but it is pointless to contact support on sites and ask them. If anyone called PS or FT yesterday, I am sure the answer would have been, everything is fine.

This has got to suck for all the people who have quit there day jobs to play poker full time. Hope they can get there day jobs back. That one post about not quitting because of not knowing when online poker in the usa would be shut down is a smart one.
We all knew this day was coming somehow or another didn't we? I mean we a probably hoped they would get this figured out in the usa before something like this, but even at the beginning of this year/ end of last...weren't they talking about a blackout..
