jeff ,, how do you play with an opponent who doesn't fold and always plays cbet in position?
Sounds like you have him pegged,
Great Read and player observations!!!!
Now we must turn poker into a thinking game of how to possibly gain equity from this specific opponent.
If you know what he is going to do think to yourself
If he cbets what am I going to do?
If you bet out whats the chance he shuts down?
To get value let him cbet
To get good fold equity(donk) bet out when you have nothing ,
Aggrotards tend to fold post flop but are more than willing to go all in preflop

how do i find a stable?

Best bet would be to hit up google maps on your smartphone, allow GPS location tracking and search for horse farm/ horse ranch / horse school nearby. There should be stables full of horses! First only learn on a pony, less dangerous.

My question is: Do you have 'poker vacation' (how many times at a year do you rest) and how do you spend it?

Greetings from Venezuela, my question may seem silly, but I still have it, here it goes: Why do people call only the Texas variant Poker, when for example in Omaha you can also have a hand of Poker?

Hi jeff what do you think about the variance.
Thanks
Variance! One of the bigger words & powerful ones in the beautiful game of poker. This is a complex word but overall I would say that Variance is key part of the game and realizing/understanding what this is and how it works is huge. If you are able to grasp this concept or at least some what I believe it will help a lot when you are running poorly/on a down swing as well as when running super hot and not getting too big of a head! Variance comes in all different ways on the poker table and off, this is a great question and something that can always be understood more clearly!

Come up w/ a game plan for them! Also be careful as some players may seem spewy/reckless pre flop but be competent good thinking players that are setting you up! In general though these players are fun and great to play with. Normally I would suggest to be patient, let them win the small pots but on the big ones lay the trap and let them blast off into you!

Tagging players with underbluffing tendencies

Hi Jeff!

I am having some trouble in identifying players who tend to underbluff on the river. Since it is the street you generally see the least of, and even when you get to the river - showdowns happen even less. So my question is, are there any general symptoms in earlier streets that can be a sign of a player that doesn't have enough bluffs when the pot is the biggest?

Thank you:)

Draws I don't understand

Good morning Jeff, I have been playing poker since 2018, I live in the city of Rio de Janeiro, I am playing some free omaha games and I have already recorded 3 Mtts of ACR, each Mtt has an average of 800 players, but there are hands that I do not understand the result, in the HU I had 8dTd and the flop hit the flush and the software says it was a tie, the villain did not have cards for flush, why is it a tie? That hand is in the attachment. I thank you and GL in the grind.

Good afternoon thwenth1983, sadly Jeff does not answer, I asked him a question a week ago and he does not answer. I will try to clarify what happened to you, although the type of game you are sitting in is not very well appreciated in the image I think you are playing Omaha H / L, where 2 pots are dealt, the one with the best traditional high hand and to the one with the lowest low hand, I'm 100% sure that's what happened to you. Greetings from Venezuela.

Hi Jeff,
Good to have you here on Cardschat.
My friends (almost all old guys) play a friendly game of Fixed Limit Holdem for small stakes. Nobody is trying to get rich and nobody needs a second mortgage. Just recreational play. The challenge I face is the number of guys who are fish and big fish chasing to the river. Against a single fish, it is possible to win a lot of pots - my odds going to the river are much better than them and their wild ranges of opening hands. When more than one player, (often three) go to the river, the odds of one of them catching their lucky out (sometimes only one or two cards to beat me) increases, simply because of the numbers.
The group will not switch to No Limit, so the strategies in NL to move players off their long-shot draws are not feasible/possible when these guys can call a raise for one bet.
I have studied Sklanski's ideas from about 20 years ago, but I can find little on newer strategies for FL.
Got any ideas that might be of help to my game?
Much appreciated.

Ask Tom Cruise :D

HA, ha, ha, most likely Tom Cruise will answer him first than this Jeff, that one does not respond to Nobody, I think the administrators should delete this thread from Jeff, because he only places a good title, but he does not answer any of the concerns raised by novice players. Greetings from Venezuela
