What do you think about rebuys and add ons?

I prefer tournaments with no rebuys or addons. One rebuy is not bad though.

Rebuys and addons are a great opportunity to get more knockouts from weak opponents and increase the prize pool.

if you are a chip leader, then it is certainly beneficial

I prefer tournaments freezout, I think this more just and the person play more technicaly, because if to play wrong, don’t have other chance.

I don’t like rebuys/add-ons. These parameters encourage those ‘all-in-anytime’ players to butcher an otherwise meaningful game. And add-ons… encourage those scared players to hang on … lol… until they can pay to chip up…. Ridiculous garbage all the way around.

Freeze out is the best ! That way somebody with money has the same chance as someone who doesn't have that much money..
There is a story (truth) how some players rebuy in tournament few times and the strategy goes that way.... rebuy- double up - play.... not fair vs. someone who can buy once...
Again, maybe I'm wrong....

Most likely, this is a game with a small buy-in. I would prefer not to enter such a tournament at all. I'll avoid it if possible.

I do not play rebuy tournaments, I prefer freezeout tournaments. But if players want to play rebuy tournaments, of course it´s ok, if they have the bankroll. It is just not for me.

I agree with that, and it implies their existance can help stronger players, if the rebuys and add ons go into the prize pool. So I favor them. I especially like the idea of freerolls with rebuys and add ons.

If i end up entering a tourny with R & A's, i breath a sigh of relief when it gets to finally running and that stuff's over!!

I prefer entering tournaments without them.

I don't like rebuy tournaments, I can accept some with a rebuy, but unlimited definitely not. I think you lose concepts of strategy versus purchasing power

i love rebuy and ad- on games becuase of the overlay, people buy in for the game and just quits before reaching the add-on time means bigger prize pool with lesser player

I don't like multiple add-ons. They change the situation too much and not according to merit.
