I have a great fondness for Spags, he was one of the biggest reasons the Giants did so well while he was here. I hope him and Bradford works out to a great partnership.

It looks like the Cowboys and Eagles will be fighting for the division crown. Giants have O-line and penalty issues and Redskins somehow blew a 17 point lead against the Texans and then lost to the Rams.

The Cowboys still need to fix their own O-line issues. They were better in game 3, but they were atrocious in the first two games. They should be putting up monster numbers with the weapons they have. I think they should give up on Barber as well. It's time for Felix Jones to get his chance to shine.

Felix Jones should play more and Barber should be used in short yard situations. Cowboys O-line made them lose against the Redskins, so yeah they could be better with the talent they have.

The Texans have a weakness in there secondary, with it being loaded with young players. However, they played poorly and my Texans lost (i'm from Houston). But its ok we still lead our division and I predict that they will make the playoffs this year. Oh and I'll be even bolder in my predictions and say that they will beat the colts again.

I think the best games to watch will be (no importance to order): Ravens vs. Steelers, Redskins vs. Eagles, and Fins vs. Pats on monday night.

It's also my humble opinion that the gmen are going to upset the bears on Sunday night ^^

That's one sad bit of news where Kiwi is out for the time being (how long not certain) with a bulging disc. This is the same injury issue that knocked out Pierce last year and eventually forced him into retirement. I really hope Kiwi recovers quickly, he's a big part of our front 7.

I subscribed to the NFL RED ZONE channel last week. It's awesome to watch all the best NFL action from around the league as it happens on Sundays. I love it, and it's a must for fantasy football. I used to have DIRECTV and paid $270 for a season of NFL SUNDAY TICKET. You could watch any game you wanted, but it was too expensive. NFL RED ZONE is only $7.99 / month.

Onemorechance, you should definitely watch the Ravens vs. Steelers game. There are always hard hits and the game is usually close.

Fearfactor is right, NFL red zone is awesome!

Kolb is worthless, the league laughed when Reid made a trade to move up and draft this guy, the league laughed even harder when they gave him a new contract this year including 10 mil for this year alone and a huge signing bonus. Someone please give me one plausible attribute about Kevin Kolb, what am I missing here, to the naked eye, he isn't even arena football talent level.

The only ones not laughing was McNabb, the fans, and probably the rest of the team, which needed more help elsewhere. I don't know Andy Reid thought he was kidding last week when he said they have 2 QBs who can each take them to the SB.

Had no idea it was that cheap. $24 for the next 3 month is very doable. I will look into it this morning. Do they activate it immediately? Would be nice to have today. I do, of course, have the NFL network, so I can watch all the games during the week. But this sounds better.

Totally awesome. You will love it. Do you know where your seats are? If you have a smallish pair of binoculars, bring 'em.

The seats are pretty good - better be for $250 lol. Dang - how does a normal family of 4 afford to take their kids to a football game???

Texans Defeat Raiders

The Texans beat the Raiders today, 31-24. The game was competitive for the most part. The score was tied at halftime, but the Texans took control in the third quarter, scoring 10 unanswered points. I was impressed with the Raiders quarterback, who is a very tough guy. On two occasions, he ran with the ball but didn't slide. As a result, he got hammered by the Texans hard-hitting strong safety, Bernard Pollard. The QB had to stagger off the field after the second hit. The difference in the game was turnovers. The Raiders QB threw 2 picks. One was tipped by a Texans player, the other popped out of his receiver's hands that should've been caught. I expected the Texans to win, but the Raiders were better than I thought. They are no longer truly awful even if they don't have a good record. They seem to be turning the corner.

One name: Arian Foster. The dude is a freaking beast, I can't believe the numbers he put up after missing the 1st quarter.

the Giants vs. Bears game was an ugly mess for 3 quarters. The defense for both teams were playing really solid. But the Bears for some reason couldn't see the pressure coming, which resulted in 10 sacks and cutler having a concussion. tough loss for the Bears, but i suspected they were not really as good as their record showed.
