LOL. That was a sick fight. Diaz looked like he was nearly out. What did you guys think of the stoppage? I thought it looked like Daley kicked him in the head when he was down too but he must have missed cos the ref didn't even react to it.

Looks like they're gonna have interpromotional fights pretty soon by the sound of it. Melendez looked unreal too. Strikeforce put on a good show.

I loved the SF event as usual , seems like they never dissapoint u.
Although it's mostly because of they either had fedor or Diaz in the events ive whatched so far.

But man Diaz knows how to put on a show hope they will merg some contracts or something like that soon.

Mousasi also.. didnt finish jardine and didnt look that impressive. He went down in my rankings.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Gilbert Melendez fight BJ Penn (if he drops back down to 155), Takanori Gomi, or Kenny Florian for a chance at the BJ Penn/Gray Maynard winner for the UFC title. Melendez is a Top 5 lightweight in the world, possibly Top 3, and would be good for the UFC more than Strikeforce.

On a slightly off-note, I would love to see UFC or Strikeforce bring in Rumina Sato.. although he's past his prime, he's still a great showman!

He was on a 2-fight win streak going into the fight with Gegard Mousasi.. but they were with a couple of smaller promotions that no one has ever heard of.

Before that, he was on a 5-fight losing streak, 4 in the UFC, 1 in an event called "Shark Fights" in Texas, which had Houston Alexander TKO'ing Sokoudjou.
