That's still the rumor and speculation right now. Most major sites are saying that and it's on Matt Hamill's and Rampage's wikipedia pages.. but Rampage vs. Silva is still listed on the UFC site. So, it's not 100% confirmed until the UFC says it is.

I agree, but Rampage doesn't turn down a challenge.. and he does get a bit heated up when someone calls him out. I see the reason why Hamill is.. he wants a challenge. Matt Hamill is a great competitor and good fighter, but I don't think he knows what he's getting himself into by challenging Rampage.
Rampage losing to Hamill would really hurt his career, but beating Hamill won't really move him up in the ranks, either.

It really is a lose/lose fight for Rampage but at the same time, he doesn't wanna look bad by being called out and not responding. He may never get back into title contention if he somehow loses this one so I wish him the best as I am a big fan of his.

yea i dunno if he will get back into title contention tbh. he didn't even beat Machida..he admitted that..after the fight he was surprised he won and told everyone "Machida beat my ass" and said and instant rematch he preferred.
a win over Thiago would of helped out alot, too bad that idiot couldn't stay away from drugs. what a mad fool. Although its yet to be said, the UFC will look like complete morons if his test comes back clean and they put Hamill in already haha

Antonia Silva is no mug with that weight were choi and others that size are just freak shows thats why Fedor could beat them. However I could never see him dedicationg himself to get down to 205 so if he does fight again it will be heavyweight overeem/werdum loser.

I really wish I would've signed up here a few months earlier. I came in the middle of this and the poker league, but I'll still attempt a comeback for this one since it goes until June. I'm afraid being down three events will be too much to overcome but I'll give it a shot.
