After much thought and consideration, I've decided to go w/Houston -4 over the Titans. Houston is 8 of 7 and Tenn is 5 of 10. I'm also taking Under 44 in total pts.
Jax and Carolina look like they might go over the 37.5 pts, imo. Complete gut predictions. 😝

Orlando Magic @ Phoenix Suns: Orlando Magic (+ 5.5) /// 1.83

Last bet lost. The 76ers completely lost the rebounding battle. Andre Drummond had an incredibly successful game! Dominated! A well-deserved win for Chicago. There's nothing to add. Total score of my bets: NBA 28-33 in favor of the unsuccessful, MLB 30-27 in favor of the successful, NFL+NCAAF 3-7 in favor of the unsuccessful.
New bet: Orlando will not lose to Phoenix by more than 5 points. Again a lot depends on whether Wendell Carter Jr. and Gary Harris play. Their participation is questionable tonight. But even without them, Orlando beat the Knicks. Yes, it was Orlando's home game, but I wouldn't say Orlando is playing poorly in road games this season. Orlando has not lost by more than 5 points 9 times out of 15 this season. Phoenix is playing poorly at home this season: only in 6 games from 17 they have beaten their opponents by more than 5 points. And in the last 10 games against each other Phoenix beat Orlando by more than 5 points only 2 times. And this is despite the fact that Orlando this season are showing results that were not seen in previous seasons. Phoenix has serious problems with their bench, where they had quite weak players before the season. Unless Eric Gordon is an excellent 6th player. Bet? Sure!;)

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Toronto Raptors: Cleveland Cavaliers (to win) /// 2.10

Last bet won. Orlando once again brought us the money! They lost by exactly 5 points, which satisfied me. Phoenix, I repeat, is a team with no bench at all, and in this game there was a paradox: Phoenix's starting five was much stronger than Orlando's starting five (except for Paolo Banchero who played at a high level), and Orlando's bench destroyed Phoenix's bench. Wendell Carter Jr. returned from injury just in time to help my bet win! The total score of my bets: NBA 29-33 in favor of the unsuccessful, MLB 30-27 in favor of the successful, NFL+NCAAF 3-7 in favor of the unsuccessful.
New bet: Cleveland will beat Toronto. It's going to be a tough game, for sure. Toronto is completely failing this season! Okay, they lost at home to Utah (who are terrible in road games this season), but losing to Detroit in their last game? Seriously? Detroit broke a streak of 28 straight losses. But it appears that Toronto will be going into a complete rebuild and in addition to trading OG Anunoby, they are also preparing to trade Pascal Siakam and the new team will be built around Scottie Barnes. Although why would Toronto pick up RJ Barrett's 4 year contract? He is weaker than OG Anunoby both as a scorer and especially on defense! Except he's Canadian and playing in Toronto is essentially a homecoming. Although RJ Barrett could be traded for a picks too. All in all, at this point Toronto has certainly gotten weaker since the departure of OG Anunoby. What about Cleveland? Have learned to play without Evan Mobley and Darius Garland. Cleveland's road games have been solid this season! They beat Dallas and Chicago in their last 2 road games. Yes, they lost to Milwaukee by 8 points at home (but the 3-point shots just didn't fly there at all), but I liked Cleveland's play on defense. And despite the absence of Darius Garland, I see the progress of rookie guard Craig Porter, who is already showing a very solid performance in recent games. And the Cavaliers' bench is more balanced than the Raptors'. And the odds for Cleveland's victory are so juicy - 2.10! Bet? Sure!;)

Premier League:

Liverpool - Newcastle (Home and more (1X2 + Number of goals 2.5) 1.75)

They don't rest on the first day of the year in the Premier League, so I don't either.
Happy New Year! 🥳

I wish everyone a Happy New Year and hopefully 2024 will be a great one :)

I'll also go for a bet on Liverpool and back the hosts to win all 3 points- I expect lots of goals so over 2.5/3.5 goals and/or maybe both teams to score are options worth considering but let's try to keep it 'simple' for the 1st bet of the year and maybe build a bit of momentum...

Liverpool - Newcastle 1@ 1.46 on unibet

Orlando Magic @ Golden State Warriors: Golden State Warriors (- 3) /// 1.83

Last bet lost. Cleveland lost, but I can't say that Toronto played awesome. Pascal Siakam played great, but it was just plain luck. A difficult jumpshot from Pascal Siakam with 3:34 left in the game through the hands of Donovan Mitchell. That's the kind of shot that doesn't usually go in. And he had a lot of that kind of shots in this game. And an risky 3-point shot by Donovan Mitchell with 18 seconds left in the game. I think those were the key episodes in the clutch that Toronto won. Was it deservedly? That's an open question. My betting scores are NBA 29-34 in favor of the unsuccessful, MLB 30-27 in favor of the successful, NFL+NCAAF 3-7 in favor of the unsuccessful.
New bet: Golden State will beat Orlando by 3 points or more. The game in Phoenix showed that Orlando home and away are two different teams. And if Phoenix won by 5 points, playing without a bench, Golden State has excellent depth. Even despite the suspension of Draymond Green. Rookies Trayce Jackson-Davis and Brandin Podziemski are making progress. Orlando, as much as everyone praises them this season, is still the same average team in road games. And I see a downturn in their play. Golden State is playing great at home, even though they are still in 11th place in the West. Yeah, they lost their last two games to Miami and Dallas. But in the game with Orlando I expect a solid win for the Warriors. You want to bet? Sure!;)

Liverpool - Newcastle 1@ 1.46 on Unibet
Everything went as expected with the hosts playing really well and won 4-2  (too bad Salah will go to the African Cup of Nations soon as Liverpool is in such a good place ATM end it's mainly because of him... if Egypt will do well he might miss like 6+ games...)

For today I went for a bet from La Liga but the event will start really soon ~10 minutes * still a bit tired after the holidays- I'll post it here as some members might play it maybe live...

Real Sociedad - Alaves 1@ 1.56 on Unibet

I think that the match will be with a small number of goals. I would prefer that the second half be more productive than the first

NHL

Maple Leafs vs Kings ( Kings to win) 1.75

Both of these teams come into this matchup after struggling in recent games, but the Kings will be at home. Los Angeles is one of the best road teams in the NHL, but they are only 7-6-4 at home this season. Toronto has lost five of their last six games and they are really struggling right now, but they are 8-3-5 on the road. I can’t trust this Maple Leafs team right now, so give me the Kings at home.

NHL

Chicago Blackhawks vs. Predators (Under 6.5) 1.9

The Blackhawks offense for the most part has gone ice cold, and while the Blackhawks goaltending looks like they’d have trouble stopping a beach ball in recent games, I just don’t feel great enough about Nashville’s goal-scoring to think they could cover a -1.5 puck line, which is the only way to get a reasonable price on Nashville here. Head-to-head, a lot of the recent meetings have been low-scoring, and I think this game ends up being no different.
