NBA
Cleveland Cavaliers @ Toronto Raptors:
Cleveland Cavaliers (to win) /// 2.10
Last bet won. Orlando once again brought us the money! They lost by exactly 5 points, which satisfied me. Phoenix, I repeat, is a team with no bench at all, and in this game there was a paradox: Phoenix's starting five was much stronger than Orlando's starting five (except for Paolo Banchero who played at a high level), and Orlando's bench destroyed Phoenix's bench. Wendell Carter Jr. returned from injury just in time to help my bet win! The total score of my bets: NBA 29-33 in favor of the unsuccessful, MLB 30-27 in favor of the successful, NFL+NCAAF 3-7 in favor of the unsuccessful.
New bet: Cleveland will beat Toronto. It's going to be a tough game, for sure. Toronto is completely failing this season! Okay, they lost at home to Utah (who are terrible in road games this season), but losing to Detroit in their last game? Seriously? Detroit broke a streak of 28 straight losses. But it appears that Toronto will be going into a complete rebuild and in addition to trading OG Anunoby, they are also preparing to trade Pascal Siakam and the new team will be built around Scottie Barnes. Although why would Toronto pick up RJ Barrett's 4 year contract? He is weaker than OG Anunoby both as a scorer and especially on defense! Except he's Canadian and playing in Toronto is essentially a homecoming. Although RJ Barrett could be traded for a picks too. All in all, at this point Toronto has certainly gotten weaker since the departure of OG Anunoby. What about Cleveland? Have learned to play without Evan Mobley and Darius Garland. Cleveland's road games have been solid this season! They beat Dallas and Chicago in their last 2 road games. Yes, they lost to Milwaukee by 8 points at home (but the 3-point shots just didn't fly there at all), but I liked Cleveland's play on defense. And despite the absence of Darius Garland, I see the progress of rookie guard Craig Porter, who is already showing a very solid performance in recent games. And the Cavaliers' bench is more balanced than the Raptors'. And the
odds for Cleveland's victory are so juicy - 2.10! Bet? Sure!
