The NHL is coming back and it's good. more teams have the opportunity to play in the playoff and it will be interesting. at this stage I will especially follow Pittsburgh and the Rangers, I would like them to go to 1/4.

I congratulate everyone on the resumption and return of the main hockey League of the world! :) Of course there is a question, is it really worth playing a playoff? or you should start a new season in November and finish it fully. But TV contracts and big financial losses for the League are a big problem...

I hope the game without the audience will not be boring, without emotions. The League is obliged to do a lot to make sure that the audience of America and the whole world really enjoyed the atmosphere and great hockey :)

I think the oilers or avalanche should be in the Stanley Cup finals :) The oilers really deserve it this season ;)

Turn on the big TV, set-top boxes and enjoy the best game with the puck :)

I thought my Blue Jackets were going to mess up the series but they came back and made it to the first round. They can be a great team at times but they have a tendency to give away a big lead. Hoping they can pull off a great run!

Rooting for the Flyers (havent seen a Stanley Cup yet as I was born in 1980). But I swear history is not on our side yet again.

Some Flyers history for everyone. Last cup 1975 (beat Buffalo). Broad bullies FTW. "win today and we walk together forever"

Since then we have breeded NHL dynasties in Montreal (late 70's), Islanders and Oilers (80s), Wings (90s) and final Hawks (2010 decade). We are 0-6 in out last 6 Final appearances.

The Rangers, one our rivals, won the Lafreniere sweepstakes as well. Other then Toronto we have to be the most cursed NHL team since our last cup.

Good luck to all but for the love of god just give me one freaking cup before I go.

I think they should probably consider implementing a change so if games go to a second overtime period the number of skaters is reduced by one. If this series goes to 6 or 7 games they might have their troubles in next round especially if that opponent won in 4 or 5.

I am excited to get the number one overall pick this year! Lafreniere will make the Rangers offense top 5 easy, maybe top 3. Too bad our defense is horrible.

I'm surprised at a few of the teams that won the play-in... I would love it for a surprise team to go far like the Coyotes.

I am so excited for playoffs now. That game between, Tampa and Columbus was exciting 5 overtimes. Almost 3 games in 1. Can't wait for some more exciting action on the ice, just happy it is back.

I couldn't disagree more...I like it the way it is now, as it's an endurance session that adds to the excitement for each shot on net taken. Players desperately diving to block shots way more than they do during the early parts of the game.

To me there is nothing like the NHL playoffs. It is still the best playoffs in professional sports imo. I do wish there were fans in the seats those. Freaking covid messing everything up.

I know it's hard to say as a flyers fan but aren't you forgetting a cpl penguins teams, also? Im thinking they had a good run in the 90's and 10's maybe?

It's all good, though, I'm from the Pittsburgh area and had to deal w/ them raising the Cup against the RedWings a few times in small local bars. The last one, when the Winds couldn't jam it in in the final seconds, I ran n hid in the bar's kitchen while the owner n just about everyone else celebrated n tried to get in to buddy my ball's, for about 10 minutes. Was not too fun of a night.

As for why, the RedWings, Kert, it all started w/the Russian 5, Sergei Fedorov, and him being the hot rookie card when me n my Ol'Man(gone but never forgotten) started collecting hockey cards.

Best season in sports and I'm a HUUUUUUUGE baseball fan. The post-series handshakes greatest tradition in sports. I don't think anything compares to going out there n beating up on each other for 4-7 games n then having to shake that mfkrs hand that knocked out your teeth, beat you w/their stick, put you into the boards how many times, n then sent you n your team to the golf course for the summer. Now you've gotta shake his hand. BRUTAL.

We never faced the Penguins in the Finals. All of the examples above were teams we lost to in the Finals although I still contend we got hosed big time in the 1980 series vs the Islanders.
