I think Pettis will win, I'm pretty confident he will.

Dos Anjos is quite good, all around, and I believe he earned the opportunity to fight for the title. But Pettis is on another level, IMO.

BTW, looking forward to this fight. Should be a good one.

"...and New..."

What an impressive performance. Well deserved. Not only beating Pettis, dominating the entire fight. I'm looking forward to see a rematch. Pretty good stuff.

It was a good night of fights. Roy landed a couple nice shots on Overeem but couldn't get it done. Overeem fought smart. The look on Roys face when the winner was announced plus Roy going for the take down with 20 seconds left, when it looked like he might of had Overeem hurt a little, Leads me to believe that Nelson thought he was winning.

Henderson done to Matt Brown what I thought he would but Matt Brown is tough. Never giving up. Attacking with subs and had some decent exchanges. I think Brown is going to be stuck in a spot were he can beat everyone but the guys at the very top.

Dos Anjos put on a great fight. I think he is going to be champion for a long time.

The woman's fight was getting hard to watch. The former champion was getting lit up. I thought her corner was going to throw the towel in.

I can't believe how easy it seemed Dos Anjos dominated Pettis, now don't get it twisted i wanted Dos Anjos as i don't like Pettis but wow !
I like Brown but he is surely "gate keeper" status in my book.
I am also glad Carla lost because what i saw of her on The Ultimate Fighter was not good, in fact she was like some high school bully girl and i am glad she got stomped.

I think the only Ultimate Fighter I fully watched was the first one. I watched some of the heavy weight season when they had Roy Nelson .. Kimbo .. Matt on and a few episodes of the come back season were Matt Sera won and went on to beat G.S.P. for the Belt. Doesn't sound like I am missing much by not watching.

Joanna Champion LOL :D

So the Brown-Hendricks fight played out basically the way I expected the Esparza fight would. And the change of camp really does seem to be having an effect on Alistair Overeem, fighting much smarter than he used to.

UFC 185 is one of the best UFC I've ever seen, I mean, all of the fights were good, Early Prelims, Prelims and Main Card. I don't think I'd seen that happened before.

Joanna Jędrzejczyk was amazing as I expected her to be. I remember I couldn't believe how good she was the first time she fought in the UFC.

Dos Anjos absolutely impressed me. I knew he was going to put on a fight vs Pettis after beating Henderson the way he did, but definitely didn't expect THAT fight... didn't even expect him to win.

Koscheck lost. I think if it wasn't for that slip we would be seeing round two.

Wow im really impressed with Maia performance last night, well all beside rd5 i dont know how he dropped like that in rd5, tho its not first time that it happens to him... Its a shame cuz watching him dominating like that is absolutely great but watching him stalling like that in rd5 is a shame... I have never competed in mma so i cant say much but i competed in bjj and trained till recently and i can relate to how it looks when you totally gassed and opponent still attacking, believe me it can turn you in a world class pussy but here we are talking about world class fighter whose weakness has been exposed before and he lost the won fights because of his gas tank and jet here it happens again... I dont see him beating anyone better (would say top ten guys but i dont wanna sound like one of the UFC commentators :D ) if he doesn't change that or if he doesn't commit to the submission and work till he finish...

By the time round 5 came Maia knew he was ahead 4 rounds to 0 and was tired. He took the round off.

Predictions for UFC 187 Jones vs. Johnson and Weidman vs. Belfort. I think the underdog Anthony "Rumble" Johnson will KO the champ if Jones stands with him but if it goes to the ground Jones will win by submission and I think Weidman will lose his belt too, he is not a real champion, Anderson Silva broke his leg had surgey went thru rehab came back and has the same number of fights as Weidman since the two fought

You heard that while watching the NCAA tournament, I bet! HaHa

I'm hoping for a win for Rumble & Weidman.

4 main reasons: 1. Jones is an asshole & a cheater & has lost my respect. He doesn't deserve to be called a champion.
2. Rumble is a class act & has an extreme amount of talent. He deserves to be called a champion.
3. Belfort is an asshole & a cheater & has lost my respect. He doesn't deserve to be called a champion.
4. Weidman is a class act & has an extreme amount of talent. He deserves to be called a champion.

______________

On a side note, I watched the replay of the Dillashaw vs. Barao fight a few hours ago. As the commentators & others have said, that was seriously the greatest championship based performance by a underdog I've seen. Dillashaw absolutely owned Barao in every aspect. The 3rd & final round just goes to show you who wanted it more. Dillashaw had the win in the bag (if it had gone to decision), but he still went for the KO headkicks & punches. It was amazing to watch. I hope he's the champ for a long time to come.
