Please restart PokerTracker 4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and then report it via our support system with the log file. You can find that file by clicking "File --> Show User Data Folder" in the main PokerTracker 4 window - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder.

Will do, thanks for your help.

HUD problem

HUD on the tables appears but won't gather more info. New opponents stats are just 0 with (-) hands played against them even though I'm clearly playing hands against them.
Previous opponents stats remain what they were last time my HUD was working and won't gather more info or hands.
My results, stats and other info from sessions is recorded underneath the graph section of the 'view stats' tab in PT4 but my graph, C won, hands and other stats do not change on the left hand side of the graph.
HH aren't being imported, every single one is an error. E.g import status: hands 26, errors 26, duplicates 0.
I just updated PT4 (new update) and restarted poker stars. Still isn't working.
Any ideas of how to fix?

I'm having an issue with a particular tourney I play regularly (ACR $100 GTD .10+.01)- The HUD will not show up on the table. HUD shows up on other tables just fine, but not on this tourney. All hands/stats are being imported correctly, and I can view the stats in the active tables menu but the HUD will not display on the table itself. Any help?

Unfortunately there is sometimes a disconnect between the information in the hand history files and the table windows for WPN tables - either all tables of the same type having identical window titles or the hand histories not having the same ID as the window titles. Please enable logging (Configure -> Options) and restart PT4 and play one of these tournaments and take a full screenshot of the table window then attach it to a Support Ticket along with the PokerTracker4.log file from C:\Users\SOME_NAME\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\ (which you can access from PT4 via "File -> Open User Data Folder") and the hand history files for the tournament. You will need to compress the .dhh and .phh files before you can attach them to the ticket (you can actually add all the files to a single archive to make a single smaller upload).

Is size 8 font really the smallest available for the HUD stats? I tried typing in smaller fonts manually, but they don't seem to take.

As it stands the HUD is WAY TOO BIG to be useful. It covers my entire table even when I have it full screen. Is this strictly an issue with the trial version of Pokertracker 4? There has to be something I'm missing here. No one could use this for one table, let alone trying to multitable. I can't see my cards, the pot, stacks, anything! Even if I reduce the HUD stats to only show VPIP and PRF, it still is humongous.

Please help me understand what I am doing wrong.

Sounds rather odd, I'm sure as a starter a screenshot would go a long way in starting to figure out what the issue could potentially be.

Perhaps even with reduced stats on your hud you have a bunch of blank lines with no stats in them? You can also make the hud stats box opague so that it doesn't completely block out everything and you would essentially be able to see through it (granted that can make it hard to read the stats sometimes, but something to keep in mind for if/when you do have a hud with a mass amount of stats that you want on it).

Is this on Windows or Mac? If Windows what are your current DPI settings? The PokerTracker 4 HUD does not fully support higher DPI settings so you can set everything on your computer to use default (100%) DPI scaling as follows:

How to Change the Display DPI Size in Windows 7 and Windows 8

Alternatively you can work around this by right-clicking the shortcut used to run your poker site and choose Properties and in the 'Compatibility' section turn on the 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings' option. You will need to restart your poker software to make this setting take effect.

Thank you. This fixed the issue. The HUD size is so much more manageable now and lines up with the poker software much better.

I have the same issue as above. When disconnecting my laptop from the monitor (connected via a VGA) then when I load up Poker Tracker all the stats a re shown too close together and not at their normal width and then when I open up onto an online table the HUD is way too large to make it usable. It's as though disconnecting from the monitor via the VGA just screws all the sizing and fonts and I don't understand why. Moreover I've found that Poker Tracker itself freezes after a few minutes when it's just on the laptop and no buttons work - I have to just end the task through task manager.

I can see there may be a fix but as I have Windows 10 I'm not sure that the above links apply. Not sure what to do next so hope someone can help.

The fix in the link says Windows 7/8 but I have Windows 10 as well. It still worked. There's no harm in giving it a try anyways. You can always uncheck the box.

I tried following the steps but there is no option just for setting DPI settings. As I don't want to change any other sizings on my laptop (Poker Tracker is the only program affected) I don't want to mess about changing all my settings.

When using PokerTracker 4 you see a video icon on various screens. This is the green "?" icon. There are several in-client videos that will help you understand and utilize the features in PokerTracker 4 so if you don't fully understand how to use an aspect of PokerTracker 4, look for that icon. You can also access the full library of tutorial videos here:

Poker tracker 4 issue

I just downloaded PT4 trail but the hud is a little off. The hud is off by one seat. So instead it is showing information for the person to the left of the actual person. Is this normal or is there a setting to adjust this?

Are you using preferred seating on your poker site(s)? If so you'd want to see this:

Guide: Preferred Seating

Your poker site(s) may also have specifics with respect to preferred seating:

PokerTracker 4 - Site Configuration Guides

When that is setup, or if you do not use preferred seating, then you can fine tune the positions of your HUD. By default the HUD placed on the table is locked in position to avoid accidentally moving the HUD while playing however you can move the HUD to new locations on the table by holding the Control key (Command Key on Mac) while dragging the HUD.

You can alternatively click the PT-icon and select "Unlock Layout" to move the HUD around on the table without the need to hold the control key. When you have your HUD placed where you want then on the table you should then save their positions by clicking the PT-icon and choosing "Save Layout".

If you use the preferred seating option, the stats at your table may not move to the correct positions until you have played and imported at least one full hand. Until this point PokerTracker 4 can not know you are seated at the table, therefore it does not know to use the preferred seat settings. If you join a table and the view rotates to put you in your preferred seat you should not move the HUD straight away as PokerTracker 4 will rotate the HUD after your first hand imports.

Am I right in thinking you can only use PT4 on two computers? My laptop broke a few weeks ago which had PT4 installed and it is also installed on my desktop using the same licence, is ther any way I can install it on my new laptop using the same licence?

Hi,

My HUD has stopped been displayed at the tables. I am playing on pokerstars.UK and it has been fine for weeks.

I logged on to today to play a tournament and some 8-game and it isn't showing up for some reason.

It was working perfect last time I played so unsure what has happened. Any advice would be great, Thanks :)

Yes you can use the same license to a new laptop. While you can only use PokerTracker 4 on up to two computers that you own and operate at any one time if you uninstall from one computer you can install on another so you won't invalidate your license in this way (if you're not able to uninstall for any reason as long as the old install isn't used any more there won't be a problem). The PokerTracker license always grants simultaneous use on two different machines and you always get to pick which two, even if it's not the same two you started with.

Were your hands still importing OK? Please check that everything is still configured correctly.

PokerStars Configuration Guide

If you have any further trouble restart PokerTracker 4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this and then report it via our support system along with your PokerTracker4.log file so that we can see what is going on.

Ok thanks for the explanation, appreciate it.

Does this software provide some kind of overall scores for players, based on their history in tournaments or something like that?

PokerTracker 4 imports your hand history files and, where applicable, tournament summary files from your poker site(s) and these files do not contain enough information to track other players winnings.
