I have a question...
Where can we post 'suggestions' for your site?
I used to follow a thread on that other forum ("4") awhile back (couple years ago?) and there were many suggestions there for the site, I believe many of which were being implemented at the time.
It's great how Partypoker is growing and is a player-friendly site. I honestly hope you guys keep on grabbing more of the market... at least until even with the other big one. Playing tournaments on Partypoker today feels more like the experience I had on Fulltilt years ago... I only wish it could become even more like that.
I have some ideas for satellites that I think would be very popular.... a system similar to how they ran on Fulltilt. (typically in the larger field satties, a payout of 1 in 4... or 1 in 5 (25% & 20% of the field winning the ticket/token). The way FTP ran the token satellites was fantastic! Especially the 18-man games where a $6 buyin could win you a $26 token. For larger field satties, a $14 buyin satellite that ran twice per day put you in the running for a $50+$5 ticket (to the 'Fifty-Fifty). This led to larger fields in the tourneys.... especially the $24+2 tournaments.
I also think that if the same satellites ran at the same time every day of the week, and had them targetting a specific buyin (via token, ticket... to ensure the tourneys fill up... or even more preferable from a player's view perhaps introducing T$'s).
I believe a lot of the stuff FTP had going for them could be great to draw from. I understand today's player pool & market is quite a bit different from how things were 10yrs. ago, and that hyper this & spin that to luckbox into the 'big dream score' is popular to some less skilled, more gambling oriented customer but it sure would be cool for poker purists to take things back a bit to the grass roots of things.... you know... like 'poker'
PS - do you guys have any job openings for some 'innovation' team positions?
This new 'Team Online' what is the basic premise for this? What are the proposed benefits this brings to the site? Will these guys not be drawn upon for their wealth of information & ideas based upon their own experience? One can only hope.
It's great watching you guys expand & continue to improve upon your product!
