The only thing I am missing are some freerolls for which you do not need a ticket or other requirements.
But I found some nice satelites and good guaranteed games recently so that makes up for the freerolls. But it is always nice to have freerolls that are really free without any requirement.

Where are you playing from?

ya they screwed me on a promo too click the instant $20 CASH for first deposit then get dicked around for 2 weeks just to have tourney tickets put into my account at their selection most were useful but they do lie with their promos...

I was told the promo was over and i didn't qualify, but yet to make the deposit i clicked on their own banner in their lobby of their software. cashed out and will never leave money on that site again.

Back to jokerstars at least there i get support when needed, and if I miss a promo on a deposit a simple email requesting the promo after the fact never an issue!

I believe you must have hit deposit when we were moving between the new and old first deposit/new members bonus?

its been taken care of but the 2 week hassle between, on-line chat and phone support was unnecessary. Its just plain stupidity that they give bonus ticket thats are designated to specific events. Should just come as Tournament dollars and there never would have been an issue.

I left a few bux there and Im currently running it up but I don't for see ever depositing again.

Not unlike others in the past, this promo was worded/eplained poorly... as I've come across others who also misterpretted it (including myself).

By playin 'x' number of days with a minimum of 'x' number of pts./day, one can qualify for different freerolls. Many assumed that if you played more, you would gain entry into the next freeroll up the ladder as well.. AND if you played even MORE, you would also get bonus ca$h, beginning with $7 & all the way up to $4,000 .

When I logged in this past Sunday Jan.3rd, expecting to see tickets/entries to the GLadiator freerolls (after playing more than 25 days last month & raking ~$90) instead I find ZERO tickets. At first I'm sure it's a mistake... but LiveChat tells me that I opted to win $7 lousy sh1tty fk'n measely dollars (less than the amount won & lost in hands taking 15seconds... but I played for over 50hrs.!).. instead of a $3,500 freeroll entry valued at over $120.

He explained to me that I 'preferred' the $7 in cash over the $120 in tournament entry (& get this) 'because you could've won nothing if you played the Freeroll' (LOL.. yah okay.. I'm going to pass up $120 value & instead take a gtd. $7.. GIVE ME A BREAK!). But he insisted this was a popular & good choice & had more value than taking the ticket (what are the requirements to work there? ... lying skills 101 ??)

I stupidly waste another 30mins. of my life attempting to explain to a complete monkey, why I would NEVER knowingly take $7 cash over a $120 entry.

I feel like I was mislead in this promotion & deceived into playing ALOT more than I ever would have played. (during Christmas... sigh)

It worked out that IF I had played one day less I would've won a prize with almost 20x the value (TWENTY TIMES!!!!)...
and if I had played HALF as much as I did, I would've still won a prize worth 4.5x as much as the one I received.

I also could've chosen to play ONLY half as many days, with ONLY 1/5th as much play each day)... Basically 2hrs. Total play instead of over 50hrs. of play & would've won a prize worth almost DOUBLE what mine was.

How ridiculous is that????

Who in their 'right' mind would ever think this was even possible?


This month when I go to choose where I will [Opt-in] it for sure will NOT be at PartyPoker.

Anyone on here (especially micro players who would have to put in a fair bit of time to qualify) choosing to play the GLadiator promo be advised that is is possible to play 'more' & win 'less' in this promo if you don't know exactly how the prize payout works (of course over on 2p2 the majority knew how it worked, because they'd all played it before).

Or you can be like me, play more and then choose to win $7 instead of a ticket worth $120 in an exclusive freeroll. (and when you contact support, letting them know you're EXTREMELY upset, you can waste some more time & have the guy tell you that you made a 'good choice' & a 'popular' one... because with a $120 tourney ticket you might just win nothing (did he not realize you might also win over $1,000? or that the ticket was worth $120 based on the number of entrants in it vs. the size of the prizepool). You could waste some more time & try to explain it to the support staff.. but I'd advise against it.

I see no need to turn this into a personal attack - you have clearly voiced your opinions on these boards and your comments have been passed to the relevant team and management for review.

I guess you missed it. If you'd read the picture & my post, you'd see it was a joke in regards to the use of the word 'your' ... instead of 'you are' (a.k.a. you're )

Probably will have to deposit to play the CC freeroll, i think it's a requirement.
I know i had to deposit a few years back. Check it out, the CC freerolls are worth it, good prizes and not to many players, if you can deposit, i would recomend you do.

Yes - you can play from Brazil
All freerolls require a real money gaming account which requires a minimum deposit

Hi all, can anyone tell me how to shut off the unnecessary sound effects in Party Poker. I don't want to hear the sound of chips or the cards shuffling, I only want the alerts (when I am suppose to play). As far as I can tell, the only sound option is "Enable all sounds", which would mean that I have to listen to all the sound effects or none at all. I must be missing something?

You can try My Account > My Details > Alert Settings to customize the alerts

You will be unable to play for India
I would suggest you contact CS and withdraw any outstanding funds as over time these will be at risk due to the inactivity fees

When I got finished working today, I had hoped to log in to PartyPoker so that I could get my 5 or 10pts. on the day. (I'd gotten few earlier on during my lunch break). Unfortunately I was unable to play because of this 'maintenance'... but I was unaware of such maintenance until it was too late for me to acquire my pts. for the day for the Gladiator promo.

Could I possibly be allotted a 5pt. day for today please (I was actually shooting for a 10pt. day as I'd planned on continuing through with successive 10pt. days so that I'd qualify for the $3,500 freeroll).

And again today.... I had some time off from working and had planned on picking up my 5pts. this morning at the same time while playing in the Cardschat Freeroll but the site seems to have been down since 13:48 (10:48am my time). And now I have to leave for work shortly so it is looking like once again I am not going to be able to get my 5pts.

Is this looking like somewhat of a repeat performance? Does it look like I didn't learn my lesson the last time? (because it's beginning to feel like it). I even jumped up in stakes (2 levels) the other day in hopes of getting the pts. in because of not getting them in the day prior when it was down for maintenance.

I'm hoping to have '2' 5pt. days credited to my Gladiator table to make up for the times I have not been able to play (that were no fault of my own).

Thanks for helping me out here PartyPoker rep., & regaining my trust & hope in the site (I've actually gone & put another 10hrs. of play in after feeling completely disrespected during the last Gladiator promo (by the 'chat' support).

We would like to sincerely apologise for last night’s system downtime. This seems to have been caused by issues with a routine update to the software this week and is under*investigation by our*technical teams.

Until the underlying problem is solved we have taken the*decision to reverse this update to ensure that everyone has a smooth $5 million GTD Powerfest over the next 4 weeks.
We understand the frustration felt by our tournament players and we will honour all of the*guaranteed*prize pools in full for the MTTS that started before the technical issues arose last night.
We would also like to*apologize to players who were*unable to participate in the GPPT Newcastle Leg and we have decided to run a special GPPT UK Online Leg*at 7pm GMT on Wednesday (24th February) so that you can use your GPPT $109 tickets and we will add $10k on top of the $50k GTD prize pool.
