This page also did not say when it was written. This page also uses the now defunct PartyPoker logo of several years ago. This page is a "wishful thinking" article. If you want online poker to return to the US, I would suggest taking political actions. If you wish to follow the progress of online poker legalization in the US, I would suggest following news sources that are geared to following such progress.


There are threads aplenty on this site that discuss the issue.

I am sorry I must have misread the article

It was definitely written (or updated) in the last four weeks. It's just one of my "things" - any article without a date is dropped to (almost) the bottom of my reliability pile.

Regarding mobile, we rolled back the current process forcing the upgrade meaning you can access and play until the update is available in store - once its ready you will see a further update to install the new release

Hi - regarding the ticket I would need the username to look into it

Reinstallation will not remove noted unless you remove the folder in full - simply removing the software and re downloading will not effect the saved notes

For tech issues following the update, what operating system are you using?
Desktop, mobile, MAC?
If windows, which version please

Hi Colette,
I've been away camping & just returned this evening. When I went to click on Partypoker it brought up 'another' update (I heard there was going to be another one on a Facebook post, saying it'd resolve some problems with the last one as some were having troubles with their anti-virus programs or something like that). Anyways, my computer did the update & then opened the site no problem at all.
fwiw,
it's on a laptop computer
no anti-virus program at all (only use this for poker & emails)

Seems to be working fine now (again). PHEW! Looks like that update resolved the issue I was having.

The freerolls are restricted via country - you cna not play if you are not resident and playing in the relevant tourney

Made an account by the mobile app and couldn't register to a freeroll because my profile wasn't validated to real money playing, reading the FAQ I thought I needed to login by the desktop software to make a complete account in order to be able to register in real money games, but the thing I wasn't counting on is that I need to make a deposit to do that. Is that so?

I think is counter intuitive that I need to make a deposit in order to play freerolls... I usually start by playing freerolls in any new cardroom and I just make a deposit when I'm comfortable enough a few months later, as I couldn't do this at party poker I've already uninstalled both programs and wasn't thrilled by my initial experience.

My opinion is that I should be able to play freerolls without the need to make a deposit.

Our freerolls are loyalty rewards for our players via various groups/country forums
In order to participate, you must make min deposit to create a real money account as free rolls offer cash rewards a real account is essential
For our free play accounts, we offer free play games offering chip credits

Is there any tricky way to fight the plague called a casino on the Party, which I constantly ask to block, all in all, at my first request in the PP chat room- I have access. On the site in my account, I learned how to unlock it by myself. Huge request to make the possibility of blocking, for a certain period (month, 3, 6, 12 and for life) without the possibility of unlocking in the chat, or in browser account.
