Really liking MOST things happening at partypoker over the past while... Just one thing, the recent near exclusion of $5 & $11 mtt's is a piss. (I know there's some... but very few).
A micro/low buyin player now chooses between $3 & $16.50 or $27.50. That's a huge difference. (Personally a $3 isn't worth the time... although a $3r/a would be).. & a $16.50 is higher than my bankroll can comfortably sustain (as I'm sure for many other micro/low buyin players).
$5 & $11 have been the norm for 10+yrs. online... & now they're just about non-existent??? (same with the Monster Series ... a series geared towards the micro/low buyin MTT player & yet they've removed the most popular buyin level?). Makes no sense.

I realize that Partypoker is influenced greatly by player feedback but who is representing the micro/low buyin MTT players for the site? (I read mostly stuff from the mid to -hi stakes players).
Same goes with the blind levels lately, I realize there's been lots of experimentation lately but now for any micro/low stuff you're mostly looking at 6min. levels. Again just seems lame that something that was good, gets changed to something not so great.
imo, if a site like Partypoker could base their tournament lobby on something like the old FTP, they'd be much more successful.

Whats with Partys Chat . Every second word is xxxx and no highlighting means chat is indistiguishable . Also when you have been KO,d you cant offer congratulatory MSG as you are removed like a used tissue . Very player unfriendly.

Highlighting chat [ colour change ] would help those who wish to communicate while playing . Being able to Rail is one of the enjoyments of online poker .
Most sites have no problems with chat so whats different here . Even emojis dont work anymore.
I enjoy PS over PP simply for the rail and chat options .

Though not high priority at the moment improvements to the chat function can include:

1. More intelligent censoring. "Button" for example is censored and displayed as "xxxxon".
2. Disabling the Enter button as shortcut for a min raise. This is annoying when you're done typing and the action shifts to you just as you hit the enter button. This usually forces a min-raise or a min 3-bet when the user originally intended a fold or call.

Really amazing how you guys have poised yourselves with the addition of certain pros and expanding your selection of games. You could really pull away pokerstars if you can match or outdo their client.

How come? They used to offer a $3r/a & it was always a popular tourney but it just disappeared with the initation of the power series.

Do micro/low buyin players ever get polled? Honestly I only read comments from mid-to-Hi stakes players on 2+2. I'm curious where the player feedback which prompts changes to the lobby comes from? I'm not a marketing expert but I have an inkling that if Partypoker wanted to take another big chunk of the market, they should be seeing what the micro/low buyin players & recreationals want (not the freerollers which is what I see mostly on the PP social media pages... that & mid-HSMTT regs.).

Just my 2 cents PO but aren't there quite a selection of $3.30/$5.50/$11 MTTs already available? True that they got rid of a number of staple and very popular MTTs that were around for about 2 years atleast. In return though they brought in a wider selection of games to the fore that caters micro/low stakes players.

For instance from 2015 (when I started playing in PP) till mid 2017 atleast they had the following denominations regularly:

• $0.22
• $0.55
• $1.10
• $5.50
• $11
• $22
• $55
• $109
• $215
• $530
• $1050

If you were to open the lobby today and check the variety today it's actually pretty overwhelming. $0.44, $0.66, $0.88, $1.50, $2.20, $4.40, $7.50, $16.50, etc

Plus also noting that PKO and PLO games were non existent till 2016/17. The amount of changes, and mostly good ones at that, is astounding. It also appears that the power series is also being used as a great marketing and benchmarking tool to bring in newer players and schedule suitable stakes that cater to them and the older folks. Explains why the overheads for some of the monster series have been ridiculous. Great marketing.

We run regular polls and player feedback forums both Live and online
We are aware of areas we can approve for our micro/low stake players - change will come over the coming months

Want to hear something funny... the tournament lobby buyins have changed significantly AGAIN (lol). Yup.. since last weekend they have once again added in a number of $5, $7.50 & $11 games (prior to that it was $3.. or $16.50... which obviously sucked AND there were some complaints on some of the facebook pages). Also noticed this evening the "new" addition of some $1, $3 & $5 REBUYS (not 're-enters' but actually $3r/a, $5r/a, $1r/a). Another huge improvement.

I 100% agree that the site is doing good things & are attracting many more (new?) players to the site. It's kinda weird that they didn't choose to do this many years ago but it seemed back then that they were content on just letting things slide in the poker dept. (perhaps it was legal issues... who knows?). Again I'm not a marketing major or don't run a Fortune500 business (but have run some successful, profitable businesses in the past) but it always seemed odd to me how Partypoker was lightyears behind some of the others as far as their software goes (I mean AbsolutePoker, UltimateBet, Fulltilt, Pokerstars... even Carbon poker were all lightyears better). Partypoker was notorious for disconnects & Lag issues and many chose not to play on the site because of it. It has come a long way since those days but is still a tad lacking imo (I mean even compared with the old FTP software from 9yrs. ago... PP still doesn't compare). To a low stakes donkey, recreational player like myself, it just seemed like there was an oppurtunity for a site to take a bigger chunk of the market (away from Amaya-stars) and yet it wasn't happening. So.. yes... it's great to see Partypoker making great strides these days, both live & online. Perhaps they were just waiting til' the time was right? (like now perhaps, lol).
Online poker business is a strange beast though... I mean look at the iPoker network sites. It's almost as if they're trying to bury themselve's??? (and to think there were some potential big offers for purchases just a couple years back..... it's astounding really).

With all the effort colette puts into helping grow PP , the site continues to ostracize a large part of of the player pool . The latest snub is the monster free roll give away : 5 tournaments over an 8 hour period . Great for some .
