It's because they were down for more than a certain amount of time today, so because of the possibility of that screwing up any grinder's IM runs, they give you a free Iron Day. You didn't get the points in your account, just the free Iron Man Day.Wish I would have known that was going to happen prior otherwise I wouldn't have played on the 18th...it was my worst day ever. 9BI below AIEV...

I qualified for Silver Iron Man in December and also this month, but on the Iron Man promo page it is showing bonus medals of 40 rather than 50. Does anyone know if this is normal and the extra medals for consecutive months are credited after the end of the month?

You now need to claim your extra medals by going to the 'ticket exchange' from your ironman page after each month.They now give you the freeroll tickets all the time which I think are valid for more than just the single month. When you exchange the ticket your extra medals should show up...

the 40 is probably the number of medals you got for dec and you will get 50 more for your second consecutive month at silver in jan on feb 1....

50 points away from silver. Gonna squeak it in this month. Only made bronze previous months. This is my 4th consecutive month too. Gonna try to get silver at least until I move up. On pace to clear my year end bonus too. All in all another decent month. Will post screenshot when finish for the day.

Is there mid year bonus too? Think I remember reading that in this thread but don't feel like reading the whole damn thing again!

Yea, there is a mid year bonus as well. I cleared my $150 year end in about 17 days at 10NL

WOW, Awesome thread, thanks for taking the time to explain it all to us mere mortals.

I have only been tring for the one-a-day freeroll, but, with the thread you posted and the advise within it, I will tring to go for the bronze next month, after I hit bronze, (well if I hit bronze), I will re-assess were to go after that.

I got my silver this month. Last two months bronze. One before that gold. Got 4 consecutive months now, but only one at silver. Trying not to cash out and stay at silver at least. All in all good month 25% increase on BR even though I bled off $120 in a stab at bigger limits. At least I had the smarts to drop back down. Still have about $35-$40 left to clear on my bonus which shouldn't be too hard.

i got the one a day (not even hard) but what limit is it doable to get bronze/silver with50 points for 20 or 25 days?

I can only get in like 2-3 hours a night and i can 9 table fr. Im still learning 6max. But usually i like to play 2 5nl tables and 2 2nl tables. When my finals are over next week, I might be able to go 3-4 hours a night so we'll see

yea takes me like 3 hours to get 50 ( only got there once in january but wasn't trying). I dont have the time with school to do it so maybe when I get some more money at 5nl Ill go for it. Still gonna do one a day.

One side question: Is it better to go freeroll or medals for one a day. last time, 1500 played so its like a .35 hit on rakeback. But 1/3 cash for a minimum of 2 bucks so idk whats better right now

I LOVE being able to hit Iron in 20 days at 500 points. It does make me lazy though which is why this month I didn't play at all on 9 days including all last weekend.

I averaged over 500/day even with the days off although just barely (512 average).
