How long do you think Pokerstars is able to keep their Sunday Million event?

It can't be deposits and withdraws. If it is that's like the easiest fix ever. Google could have fixed that for him. Anyway the fix is as a Canadian he needs to get himself a CIBC or BMO chequing account. Those are the only two banks in Canada that do poker and gambling transactions back when I looked into it many years ago. Deposits are instant and I just withdraw $1200 on Oct 21. Was in my CIBC account Oct 23. Any other banks or CC companies if they will even process the transaction(some do some won't) will maybe give you one warning before closing your account once they learn it's a poker or gambling transaction.

RBC when they caught on I was making poker transactions they just straight up called and told me to come down too the branch and get my money(been/was a customer since I was a kid). They were closing the account. No warning.

I have read/heard on another forum recently that TD now does poker/gambling transaction for Canadians. No experience with poker/gambling transactions with TD though and find it hard to believe considering what assholes and clowns they have been with me in the past.

Haha the good ole days. I remember my first transaction to pokerstars was thru Western Union. Then banks would do them for awhile. RBC shut me down on the 2nd transaction which was to party poker. I then just did a Google search and it said CIBC and BMO were my best options. Have had a CBIC account ever since. My personal and business accounts are with Scotia Bank. CIBC is for poker/gambling and any online purchases. I like to keep things separate that way.

Hey forum,

I'd like to discuss the top of how long the PS flagship even will be called Sunday Million.

In case you haven't seen it yet, PS has a huge overlay in their satellites and still, on the last Sunday tournament there was an overlay of $61k USD, which is 6% of the total prize pool.

Their Sunday Storm event has already been reduced from a guarantee of $100k to $80k only.

If you have some free time on Sunday, there's definitely a good chance you can get in the tournament quite cheap. I got in by playing one $2.2 and one $1.1 sattie both with huge overlays. 🤓

Let me know your thoughts!

Oh that's why I see those freebuy sats, they're pretty good tho.
Maybe after the anniversary edition, if things doesn't change they'll cut the prize pool.

Yes, the satellites for Sunday Million are very good. I qualified from 22c to the main sat for $11 and 100 tickets guaranteed for the main event. I hope such satellites and selections will not disappear over time.

Don't know but they certainly seem to be floundering across the board.

As far as I'm concerned they've made their own bed and can sleep in it.

My opinion is they've been taking their client base for granted and milking them for every penny they can for years.

Eventually people get sick of terrible customer service & lack of value, I'm not sure they'll be able to reverse the damage they've done to their own image etc.

well, the Russians were driven out due to the war, but no one touched the Chinese - they could continue playing
I see that not only the Chinese disappeared, but at least 10 other countries that used to play pokerstars

In the coming month, SM will be held as part of the big event Stars Season and some of the usual Sunday satellites may be absent. Weekday satellites are held as usual.

Regarding Lukashenko and the game via VPN, it is not as simple as it seems..
The whole situation with the war in Ukraine and the confrontation between Russia and the NATO countries is the cause of many restrictions in Belarus, including in the game of poker.

they won't ban you immediately but you will get 3 to 10 warnings and then your account and winnings may be locked
