How long do you think Pokerstars is able to keep their Sunday Million event?

they spread bad news amongst themselves. Spreading bad news to other players who are never going to buyin to a SUnday Million EVER isn't going to lose the site any money/entries.

in today's world of technology and the internet, every news, even the smallest, spreads very quickly and I think many players follow the attitude of the poker link to other customers, even if it does not affect them financially or not

for example, if I hear something bad about certain x poker site, then I stay away from it

every little thing matters, for example if you found worms in the biscuits in a supermarket, people wouldn't go to that shop if they found out

Power path is just a worthless promotion that honestly isn't worth anyone's time or effort. Who with a working brain wastes their week playing power path in hopes of making the Sunday Million? It's ONLY a $109 direct buy-in. Based on a 40 hour work week that's $2.75/hr.

You'd be better off getting a real day job and directly buying into the Sunday Million every week. It's not even close.

Personally I still have like a shit ton of power path tickets. Rarely ever use them and if I do I'm simply all-in every hand till bust. My time alone is worth way more then the end prize and I loathe bingo.

Sorry, I did oversee your post.

There is no reduction in tournaments but they have not been able to meet their guarantee in the last week(s). Usually if this continues, the sites reduce the guarantee.

But for the Sunday Million, it would be quite a negative signal, in my opinion.

Hey forum,

I'd like to discuss the top of how long the PS flagship even will be called Sunday Million.

In case you haven't seen it yet, PS has a huge overlay in their satellites and still, on the last Sunday tournament there was an overlay of $61k USD, which is 6% of the total prize pool.

Their Sunday Storm event has already been reduced from a guarantee of $100k to $80k only.

If you have some free time on Sunday, there's definitely a good chance you can get in the tournament quite cheap. I got in by playing one $2.2 and one $1.1 sattie both with huge overlays. 🤓

Let me know your thoughts!

On the bright side(a bit off topic) withdraws are still pretty quick. Requested my withdraw Oct 21 and it showed up today Oct 23 in my CIBC account. 2 days isn't terrible.

I haven't tried that in a while.

I think if you register in several satellites beforehand, that would certainly work. Not sure if it does if you already qualified.

If a person had very small income, maybe on a physical or mental health disability pension... and who has an old car isn't going to affect Ferrari by stating there's a problem with the transmission in their latest model.

I want to see Pokerstars thrive. It is good for poker & it keeps GG from becoming a monopoly. In turn this gives me more opportunity to play POKER.

Ok as a 20+ year Pokerstars player who's never had a single issue with Pokerstars. I'll take the bait. What do you think or seems to be broken with PS and your account? Truly curious as it seems to work for thousands and thousands of people everyday for 20+ years now.

You do realize that Deposit/Withdrawal methods vary greatly in different countries... don't you? Suggesting you can help with a Pokerstars deposit/withdrawal to some member who's profile has a 'Canadian' flag on it has me questioning how you figure you'd know this?
Do you reside and then play from many different countries around the World?
Or do you just study all of the different Deposit/Withdrawal methods for all of the countries that are allowed to play on Pokerstars?

It can't be deposits and withdraws. If it is that's like the easiest fix ever. Google could have fixed that for him. Anyway the fix is as a Canadian he needs to get himself a CIBC or BMO chequing account. Those are the only two banks in canada that do poker and gambling transactions back when I looked into it many years ago. Deposits are instant and I just withdraw $1200 on Oct 21. Was in my CIBC account Oct 23. Any other banks or CC companies if they will even process the transaction(some do some won't) will maybe give you one warning before closing your account once they learn it's a poker or gambling transaction.

RBC when they caught on I was making poker transactions they just straight up called and told me to come down too the branch and get my money(been/was a customer since I was a kid). They were closing the account. No warning.

I have read/heard on another forum recently that TD now does poker/gambling transaction for Canadians. No experience with poker/gambling transactions with TD though and find it hard to believe considering what assholes and clowns they have been with me in the past.
