I'm having Full Tilt problems
Hey,
FT is my favorite site. Last night it asked me to DL updates, so of course i did. What I fould out was that my system went haywire. My cards would arrive late, hands would be folded before I could even get the bets and raises to respond. Several times by countdown would begin before I even had cards. It was crazy. I always play two tbls at a time and it happened to both tbls.
I emailed customer suppt and I'm waiting for an answer. Has this happened to anyone? All of my other internet activity was working fine. i played on UB later that evening with no problems.

That's what mine was doing as well, had to try three times to get today's update as well. Think it's just their code for "the server's really fracking busy right now", keep trying and it oughta work eventually.
Though the actual game is so lagged for me at the moment I dunno if it's worth bothering. And today's update doesn't seem to have fixed the disappearing cards problem either.

on vista, you need to run it as admin for the update to work

I have vista and it seemed to update all right but when I tried to log in again just now it said "there is new software update to install" but when I said OK it all just went away again. What does "run it as admin" mean?

Also, if the desktop icon is a shortcut, you may need to go to your actual FullTilt.exe file and right-click/run as admin. My desktop icon didn't have the Run as Admin option but the .exe did.

No your not alone. Lots of folks haveing problems including me.
Both updates had trouble dowloading them. Problem decommpressing file. Took 5 tries on the second one.
Cant play more than on tourney at a time or FT stops responding. Hands in just a 9 plr SNG are lagging and lots of disconects. Very slow loading the lobbys to.
Not sure if I should uninstall and redo FT or just wait for another update.
Anyone got more info Id like to here it.

hate to tempt fate - but its working fine for me so far
I got fulltilt up but it is still running very slow on my end....
from the update, no last cards showing , no hand history,
I WROTE TO THEM TO tell them it is running very bad....
support / technical / feedback
and I have not received not 1 letter back from them yet .....
..... this was 2 or 3 days ago and today again I sent them mail.......gggggrrrrr

this, i havent 16 tabled or anything but it has worked well for 6, no lag or anythinghate to tempt fate - but its working fine for me so far

Okay I have been totally out of the loop while in Vegas but let me see if I got this right as a recap:
1. Full Tilt has released two major updates, one on 7/8 and another on 7/9. Another one for July might be in the works. It completely re-writes the whole damn site and table software.
2. This new update has caused all table mods to stop working. for now, you are stuck with existing card and background art until fixes are made by mod people. Tiltbuster.com for example posted that something might be out by July 20th.
3. Holdem Manager and PT3 must be updated to the latest beta edition recently released otherwise the HUD will crash.
4. All AHK scripts such as Full Tilt Shortcuts or even BetPot no long work at full tilt poker. In the case of FTS, there is a patch coming for some functionality of the program, hopefully Sunday evening.
I miss anything?

When I click the update, it just goes away and nothing happens. I tried last night and again today and same result. Any ideas?

The only other fun thing you're missing is that FT had a beta out for download for the last 6 months that all the modders and script coders had been working with and they had all basically rewritten their stuff to work in the new beta software. This would have meant a wonderfully smooth transition except that FT changed the entire software backend and released it without so much as a day of public testing!
I'm certain that they've lost a fortune the last few day as regs drop from 16 tables to 4 and some people, myself included, just stopped playing entirely. I don't plan to play any meaningful number of hands until FTS puts out an update.

Still no joy for me, the only thing different that I get is now it downloads 50% each time I try before it shits itself.

well as you are aware of the time diff It works out that I am downloading at approx 6am US ET which I would hope isn't the really busy time.
Tried it many times.
This is the reason that it is important that the whole thread is read not just the title
