Happy hour most definately doesn't count towards it. About half an hour of 4 tables yielded 6 FTP's but only 2.15 are in my promotion calendar thing. You also definately only need 1 FTP for the checkmark.

i only had 1ftp of 6ftps credited when i logged off. now today i got all my ftps credited. it seems they have a big lag. i wonder if they do it on purpose to keep you playing extra. if so it worked on me.

Yeah, I experienced the same lag in crediting "Take Two" points. I played until I got 2.46 FTPs, then quit for the day. When I checked "My Promotions-Take Two", I didn't have a check mark, and only .20 points. WTF. So I went back and played some more, and got 2.19 more FTPs, but "Take Two" said I only had .57 total. I went to bed, and in the morning I had all the points for "Take Two", with a check mark, so it's all good, just a delay.

Day 2 done but what a difference an update makes, never won a hand or split a pot, in fact didn't even take a hand to 7th street, unbelievable.

Guess I believe you. This is weird. Usually when I play the Happy Hour, the FTPs come at a far more rapid rate in the HH promo section. This morning, played the 2 micro tables and it took almost 3x as long to get the same. Usually the Happy Hour FTPs mirror the ones in the cashier. But I made almost 9 cashier FTPs, while just 2.76 in Take2 and 2.62 in Happy Hour. Rigged!!! :p Other than that not having more than 15 - 30 minutes delay until the tail end of my points get posted.

How gutting is this, i'm only available to play for 24 of the 30 days due to having to go on a late summer holiday with the girlfriend :(

She has to give you extra-special sex to compensate you for your inconvenience. Tell her I said so. ;)

Would love to do this, but I've forgotten the different between 'cash', 'ring', 'SnG', etc. I normally play $5 1 table SnG's on Full Tilt . . . will that not work? Are 'ring' or 'cash' game just the ones under the "Hold'Em" tab where you can just sit down at a table and leave whenever? If so, what stakes do you usually play to get the point every day? So I'd just have to sit at two tables at the same time until I get 1 point? Hehe. Help.

Sit and go's do not count. Cash games - 6 or 9 handed. You get points just for being dealt in the hand, even if you fold. It's a fairly easy promotion for micro stakes players to accomplish.

"Ring Games: For each dollar raked from a pot, every player who was dealt cards for that hand will receive 1 Full Tilt Point. For example, if $2.00 in rake is taken from a pot, each player who was dealt cards will receive 2 points. Fractional points are also awarded; if $2.25 in rake is taken, players will receive 2.25 points. A maximum of 3 points can be earned per hand."

Great, thanks for the explanation. I'm sitting down at two cash games right now and waiting to get me some points (and perhaps some good hands and profits while I'm at it!).

(Um, so I was sitting a .02/.05 and got dealt rockets. Raised 4x blinds preflop, get 1 caller. Flop comes J 10 3 rainbow. He goes all in, I call. He has a straight draw and catches it. I'm thinking I should just fold rockets for now until I get my one point . . .)

When I played mine last night I got a player all in pre-flop - I had AA and he had KK - and he ended up with quads lolololol. I hate losing money when I am trying to earn an easy bonus.

Wow, that's a stinker. Yeah, I had AA in a home game once and got an all-in preflop against 77. He hit his set. My Aces have been killed one too many times.

rofl ya lost a buy-in last night. I had KK's he had AA's. I seriously considered folding to his re-raise. My pocket KK's running into pocket Aces is my biggest losing hand in cash games. :( Hopefully, it'll start to even out.

I believe 'cash' and 'ring' are the same thing, used interchangeably. At any rate, I'm usually in just the NL or PLO8 .01/.02 or the Limit O8 at .05/.10 cent (the pots in NL & PL can get big too, even at 1 & 2 cents). It takes 1/2 hour tops to get 1 pt, allow a little longer at a tight table. :p But if you do the math, at 3 cents an orbit (folding the SB), you could probably spend less than $.30 for the $2 a day (25 days, $50).

BTW, I guess I was wrong... The Happy Hour FTPs and Take2 FTPs are totally separate, each adding up to the total added in the cashier. What I don't get is why the Happy Hour FTPs are not doubled. It sure seems like it's taking a lot longer than before to earn a point at Happy Hour.

I'm giving it a shot this time. It's particularly nice if you have another bonus running at the same time. They don't make you choose one or the other; the points count to both.

Gone be the easyest 50 bucks I ever made. 1 point a day on 2 ring tables. You can do that just paying the blinds on a 1 cent 2 cent table. Lose 50 cents a day is like 15 bucks a month and you're getting 50. How could you lose.

A real giveaway, can't believe they will not cancel it when their actuaries check the figures after day 30. That I believe is why they do not credit your account as you 'earn' it but after the promo ends, or am I just a pessimist?

I wouldn't worry. They've run it before. It's too good to pass up. Might as well qualify for the 1-a day Ironman freeroll as well. :)
