I once had QQ preflop at betonline and raised and after a number of re-raises we were all in with 4 players. I was worried with 3 opponents my QQ would not hold up. The flop was nothing and I was ahead. The turn was nothing and I was ahead. The river and Ace I lose. What did my three opponents have? AK of some variety. I understand a 1 outer is hard thing to get. I'm not saying it was rigged but ....

So you don’t believe your PhD friend or your 25 years experience anymore? Your earlier comment…

My friend set me straight on this topic way back in the day before black friday.
He has a PHD in computer science and he basically said it would take a computer farm the size of a warehouse to rig the game against one particular player.
Recent developemnts in AI have produced some pretty sharp poker bots that learn from playing against itself.
Again, it would take a computer farm to run said software.
If you had 600 blade servers with quad core xeon processors you can run artificial intelligence programs that can beat pro players.
That being said it would be a waste of money and electricity to use it on 5 dollar sit and goes.
A poker bot running on a desktop computer somewhere will not have the advanced machine learning needed to develop into a viable player.
Poker bot software that runs on a single CPU is no better than the guy that programmed it.
online poker isn't rigged and you aren't being singled out by a super user or a poker bot.
Losing is part of the game and sick beats are also part of the game.
I have been playing poker for about 25 years and I have seen it all, everything from four aces being beat by a straight flush to a straight flush being beat by a higher straight flush.
My computer science friend did tell me that there is no way to make a computer program a truely random number generator, that the algorythms used are close but not truely random.
I play live and I play online and aces full of jacks being beat by four jacks is just part of the game.
The key is to learn from your mistakes and take ownership of the situation.
Don't blame the site for your losses blame yourself.
I lost with 4 of a kind to a higher 4 of a kind just last night.
It happens.

Sometimes I have the same suspicion that it's all fixed... after countless hands at key moments in the tournament that theoretically I shouldn't have lost... but this is poker... I think we just remember our lost hands and quickly forget about our lucky hands.

In the NL room I was playing in there was a user with "bot" incorporated into the name. The timing tells of pre-flop raises, re-raises, checks and folds were all timed the same during every single hand. That is evidence enough for me.

I sent an e-mail demanding a refund for the $30 that I deposited and a permanent closure of my account. I accepted losses in the past as "variance" and "tilt" and "unlucky"; this time it was clear and present that the rooms were flooded with bots. If bots can proliferate on their web-site, then I am sure superusers can as well.
u think a bot owner is going to name his bot "bot"? lololol
Do you have any physical evidence for this? I would like to see it. Place is horrible I have to say! but any information might help!
whenever i talk to the players they usually talk back. Mostly telling me to shut up because im berating the how horrible they are at poker. How are bots doig this?

if i had a bot farm i wouldnt name my bots "bot". Maybe this horrible logic that someone would do this is why you lose at poker? I dont really know just guessing

Been playing on global for years. Its not rigged at all and is a fun safe site to play on, If your not comfortable playing there that's fine but dont bash the site. We are limited of what we can play on and I would rather play there than not play poker at all.
No your wrong,it is fixed and they do have a problem with bots on there.Show me evidence that it is not rigged and there are no bots and then ill show you evidence of bots and that it is rigged. There is andarticle that talks about testing different RNG's and how to exploit them. Most are exploitable, global poker is no exception and they want yoy to spend mpney on their site so if you dont,it will start making you lose so you have to buy more chips. If you buy more chips it will make you lose so you have to buy more chips. Its all about making money to them even if its done unethically

People over the years have made the same comments you have about every poker site out there. If true, every site in the world is rigged and full of bots. I have never said and sites are perfect and yes they are trying to make money but I don't work for a site or even own a site. If I did I would happy invite you in to see what you could how me to fix and issues but I cant. Because of that I cant prove they are 100% perfect. I could argue with you but I think your opinion would not change no matter what I could say. I continue to play there and enjoy the game on that site.

I wish you the best of luck at the tables.
