I thought the same thing but the ACR rep actually said that we could a while back. You will probably have to go back a while to find it.

In the previously mentioned conversation the rep even said you could cash on two different skins at the same time. I believe the conversation was something along the lines of building up a chip stack early and then sitting and cashing on that skin, opening up the other skin and playing through on it. I think the conversation even got to opening, closing and reopening the different skins. That would be too much of a pain in the arse though.

Thats complete BS. If you have accounts on both ACR and BCP, you will have 2 different usernames. So how should this work? You really think the software would recognize it after u logged out on one skin and logged in again on the other skin like: "ah yeah thats the same guy that just logged out, lets transfer his chips!"

Complete nonsense:rolleyes:

what you are saying makes no sense. If he is in a mtt on BCP then he has BCP open right? If he is in a mtt on ACR he has ACR open right? If he is in a mtt on both poker sites at the same time then it goes to stand he has both poker sites open?? Is that not right? When you bust out on BCP you are not magically registered on ACR in the same tourney.

ACR and BCP allow you to have separate accounts on the WPN (Winning Poker Network), where the tournaments are hosted. When you see a tournament from the ACR client, you'll see the same tournament with the same players from the BCP client. These aren't separate tournaments on different networks. It's one tournament populated by players from all kinds of skins on the WPN (skins like ACR and BCP). You can't tell what skin is being used by any particular player. Your own skin has nothing to do with it. It's just your personal choice. You could be watching BCP players from ACR, or vice versa.

Moreover, when you see the same player (same table name) from both skins, like you said, you are certainly seeing a player playing from one skin only, because they can't register the same name on the different skins. Your ACR name is unique on the WPN network, just like your BCP name, right? You can't play with the same name from both skins. I couldn't register my name "skaniol" on ACR, since I already claimed it on BCP, so I had to use "skan" there. To know whether someone is playing from both skins, you must know and see both of their names online. In my case, you must see both "skan" and "skaniol" in the same tournament. If you only see "skaniol", then I am definitely playing from the BCP skin only.

That's not even close to what I said.
On the site you sit out on, you pay the blinds and antes and get blinded out but the idea is that you built your stack up large enough that you can cash for a small amount. On the second skin you open up you start from scratch and play the entire tourney with the original starting stack and meanwhile the built up stack from skin 1 gets smaller and smaller.
Didn't say it was the smart thing to do either.

Well ok i missunderstand u. Sorry for that.

But its not allowed to enter the same tournament from different skins. This is nowhere allowed where they share a network.

Like I said in the original post earlier, I thought the exact same thing. I promise you on here somewhere the ACR Rep said you could do this process that I mentioned. There was a huge conversation about it kinda like this one. You may want to find it though and see EXACTLY what was said by the ACR Rep before doing this. I would say this conversation happened at least 4 months ago.

Something like this post?

Can you tell whats the difference between your rooms, Poker King, Black Chip and others? Events seem to be the same, color style is different. For example if i get eliminated from some tournament can i close the room, open other room of your network and get into that same tourney?
Hi, thanks for reaching us with your concerns, please note that all skins from our network will get players to the same games, the difference are basically brand logos and colors.

Now, regarding games on all skins, if an specific tourney is still accepting players ,then players can re register using the same brand or any of the others.
It only depends on the stage of the tourney and not on the brand players are using to play.

You just need to keep in mind that players can only open one of the skins at a time, not playing simultaneously, but you can have an account on each brand, with a different screen name.

Hope this information helps!

Am i allowed to post screenshots here? If so i will prove to you he had the same name on both sites and did indeed play both sites at the same time last night.

You dont get it do you? Its not possible to have the same screenname on both sites.

Yes its possible he played both sites at the same time from different devices (which would be not allowed) but never ever with the same names.

Post screenshots please, yes its allowed.

ACR rep probably was talking about tournaments with reenter option no? I can not believe this would be acceptable otherwise.

Basically this would mean you could enter the CC freeroll and go allin every hand to build a stack and if you lose you just open another skin and try ur luck there if late reg is still open. Pretty sure you could get banned from CC if you do this

Not on private tournaments that have specific rules against it no you will get banned, but on their games (WPN) the way it is posted by the ACR Rep I think your first statement might be correct. It says still "accepting players" though...? Only time I have ever done it is $500 guaranteed (re-entry), $50 site freerolls, and casino.org freerolls. If your first guess is correct I might be in trouble on the $50 freerolls but ohh well.

Your screenshots are not readable but anyway: you logged out from one skin, logged in from the new skin. The player u mentioned was still in the tournament with the screenname from the skin he started the tournament with. It does not matter what skin YOU have open.

Reread the post from this other guy who explained to you everything very well and in detail. Its exactly how he describes it.

You think because you closed BCP and opened ACR, you are now with ACR but you are still in the Winning poker network which includes all the skins. If you play for example ACR as "thedudewhodontgetit" then players from all the skins see you as "thedudewhodontgetit". If someone saw you on ACR with this name and switch to BCP, he will still see ur ACR username.

They probably simply dont care enough to enforce this rule strictly in freerolls so I dont think you have to be worried. CC can surely ban u for this behaviour from the freeroll club. At least thats how i understand it.

I know, but it's this behavior in CC games, and like I said I have never done this in any tourney on any software for any CC game. WPN is the only site I have ever done this multiple entry thing on and I only started doing it after the ACR Rep said it was OK. Just trying to pass along info here.

Hello All, Im new here.

I live in the US and the sites available to me are ACR and Stars Michigan.

Stars dont offer a good micro stake option schedule, and now they removed the 6p SnG altogether (they had 1/5/10 dollar SnGs).

As a beginner, the 6p / 9p SnG are really good for me to practice the basics and have some ICM experience. I really like ACR SnGs, but I am missing a bit of the 6p/9p tables.

Do ACR have any plans to have 1 table micro SnGs? (I know about the .50 cents, but they are a for me closer to a small MTT than a SnG. Not sure if it makes much sense. Maybe a 1 table .5 cent SnG, or is it not profitable to players/client?)

Thanks in advance!

Hi and thanks for choosing us!

Regarding your concerns, for 1-table SNGs the smallest we have is for $1.50.

However, we will take into consideration your feedback.

I am not even sure i understand the question right anymore. Was he asking if he can play the poker sites at the same time, or if he can play same site with 2 different user names? I guess i am confused now. Is it against the rules to play in BCP and when and if i get busted out close that site and open ACR and play in that freeroll if time allows? Sorry to be a pain..

I prefer BCP over ACR and if i bust out of BCP within the half hour reg time, i close it out and open ACR reg and play it..... Not sure if it is really allowed but since i only had 1 site opened at a time i have had no problems with playing both tourneys as long as i busted out of one and closed it out.

Hi, yes you can play same tourney with 2 different skins, however, you cannot have 2 skins opened at the same time, or play same tournament simultaneously in both skins.

Hope this information helps!

I was reading the updates coming soon and saw this about the cyclones. Are the Cyclone satellites coming back for the OSS series coming up?

July 28, 2021 - Downtime (7am to 8am ET)

- Blitz poker and cyclones have the option of playing with fewer than a full table of players. (Players are asked if they are willing to play short-handed.)
