Well, thanks for placating my rantings, but I honestly don't know what you can do, so it just sucks all around. Lets face it, some people will abuse any thing they can. But if they could bounce players after going inactive xx-# of times, that would be sweet.
But probably not practical. Maybe xx-# of complaints gets a temp suspension? Still probably not practical.
But thanks all the same. Still love the games and the site.

No, they are doing it on purpose. Every single hand, run down the timer. At any rate, if MT'ing or thinking, they would not do it every hand; at least, not all of them. And this is so common.
No, I think the majority falsely think it's a smart strategy.

Since this thread has more traffic i will post in here and not the cashout thread. I did a cashout on ACR for WU transfer and just waiting on the email for the info to go pick it up. Put in the request yesterday and noticed it all was processed so contacted support and they told me sometime today i would receive my email regarding the info. So once i get the email and pick it up i will let you all know. I do know i have nothing but great things to say about ACR. Really good games, really good customer service and yes some fees are stupid high but i have no complaints about cashing out. Especially with my location.

We are launching this beta Mac client today. However, I'm putting this download link here for those of you dying to have it now

Below, I'm including a list of known issues already reported to us and on our list to be fixed. If you come across something else, we appreciate your feedback.
1. Jackpot Poker is not part of the mac client yet.
2. Hand histories must be manually imported. There are some hand histories that get errors in PT4. Those problems will be resolved soon.
3. Reraising preflop from the small blind adds the small blind money to the amount typed in the betting box.
4. At cap tables, the capped betting remaining bet notice must be refreshed before the next hand.
5. Auto switch between tables is not working.
6. Table needing action doesn’t take precedence over other software.
7. Preflop pre-action are missing when on the button or in the cutoff seat in 6-max. (Also true for all positions in full ring games.)
8. Hand replayer, Previous hand, and Hand History links are not functional.
9. I checked “Sit out next BB All” when I was sitting in the big blind. The next hand I was the small blind, the software didn’t autopost my small blind.
10. Waiting for player to rebuy counter goes away and looks like table froze for 15 seconds.
11. The cost is blank in the rebuy prompt.
12. The money amount at the far right of the table title bar is not to show how much money the player has left on the table. It’s to show how much money the player has put on that table since he started playing on that table.
13. On login screen in the login name, can’t tell the difference between an “i” and an “l”.
14. Tiling tables should not take up entire monitor.
15. The Beast and S&C counters are not live updated (update about every 5 seconds)

Thanks so much for posting this link and for telling us about these known issues. It's so much better of ACR to just publish the issues than try to cover them up. I do hope they'll be fixed soon, especially #1, #3, #6, and #16 IMO. I can't wait to be back on ACR though.

Mac client bugs:
1. the on demand tournaments still show up under every tab under tourney, even when they don't meet the description (special, satellite, freeroll, live, micro, etc.)
2. under sit & go, the only games that show up under micro and low are the On Demands (of all buyins), under medium are some $2 games in addition to the On Demands, and games as low as $5.50 are under high. The true micro and low games are only found on the all page.

More possible bugs:
Trying out the client by playing play money cash game, every time I'm in the blinds, the client asks if I want to sit out or posts my blinds. It doesn't autopost blinds. Not sure if this is a bug or some setting isn't set properly, but either way, I never had to do this in the Windows client (I don't think).
Certain default settings are different for the Mac client. One is that the default is to not give hand hints. I'd suggest you make that the default setting as it is in the Windows client.
The preferred seat settings appear not to be working. I keep getting put in a seat other than the one set as my preferred one.
When I mouse over where my cards were after folding after I've been in a hand, the cards don't show up so you can see what they were.
When I click on prize structure in a certain tournament's lobby, the prize structure doesn't come up correctly.

that really is annoying
the bugs i found:
sometimes there is the option to choose if you would like to fold (before its your turn) sometimes the option doesn't show up.
when i press the replay button nothing happens
the whole site seems to work a little bit slowly
an option to get more time to think about the hand would be nice

even if i uncheck the sitout button i don't get any hands dealt - have to open the table again - sometimes even start the software new.
which is kind of hard because the software only shows the tables 1 out of 3 times.

The first 2 bugs you mentioned were things the ACR Rep noted when releasing hte beta version. I too had the site working pretty slowly. The time counters moved slowly, sometimes making me think the site froze. It never did actually freeze on me, though. And generally worked pretty well.
If my option to get more time to think about the hand, there is a time bank. That's unchanged between Windows and Mac. And the time to act and time bank on ACR are really quite lengthy, to the point that the other day people were complaining here in this thread about people taking too long. ACR does seem to offer more time per hand that even PS.

If Fulltilt and pokerstars real money games are unavailable for US players could someone clarify how playing at ACR legit?
I play cash games here in FL at the Hard Rock in Tampa and occasionally online freerolls. I see multiple posts about withdrawing moneys but perhaps I'm missing something. I just want to make sure it's legit before I invest more time then I already have lol.
Have visited this site many times in the past but just now joining as a member. Thanks in advance.
