WPN is the best in my book....I think they're gonna come out of this smelling like a rose in the end. Problems being solved, regular player base increased, bigger tournies, shorter late registrations....it's gonna come together. I'm willing to bet my entire roll on that one! And, believe me, 55 cents is a chunk of change where I come from....

In the tournament lobby, highlighting a tourney shows details in a pane to the right. I'm having an issue where the registration time is shown correctly in this pane, but incorrectly (off by 1 hour) if I open the tournament window. Anyone else experiencing this? Here's a screenshot:

Mine is in sync, check it again, then maybe verify that you are configured for your correct time zone.

You saw me getting busted down for time zone settings earlier, didn't you :p

I can't seem to find anywhere in the client to change the time zone, any info on that? I don't understand why it would be out of sync from one window to the next, but I'm willing to try anything to fix it. It's a minor inconvenience (check time in acr lobby vs tourney lobby) so I'm not really worried about it if not :)

thanks for the report, I checked on my computer and everything was in perfect sync, however I'm forwarding it to our programmers so they can take a look and see what happened.

America's Cardroom is a blast....all the rest of the sites are just straight flat BORING! I guess that boils down to why one plays poker....play for fun, or play to survive? Poker is entertainment....and the more entertaining the site, the better the traffic will be! Let all the wanna be proffessional players keep sitting at their empty tables waiting for a fish to pay their internet bills. LOL It's entertaining!

My friend had an epiphany and became a Hobo when he retired at 34. Now, he gets his kicks riding the rails up and down the West Coast stopping at Hobo camps and having pizza delivered to all the tramps. Say's it's a blast! One couldn't tell he's financially secure just by looking at him. Almost talked me into coming with him but it was impossible to talk my girl into coming with me. I love me my girls, so I have to do the normal boring stuff to keep them happy! So, now I just get my kicks freerolling and shark hunting! I'm still thinking about the Hobo thing though! LOL

Our Jackpot Poker product debuted last month, promising a fast-paced exciting game where big pots would be the norm. Well, we’re off to a great start with $100,000 and $25,000 pots both hit this week.

Check out the hand re-player for today's $100,000 Jackpot poker game: http://ow.ly/Njrdt

Speaking of Jackpot poker what kind of range are you guys shoving with? I played a crap ton of $2 buck ones. Seen everything obviously the range varies greatly depending on the pirze pool. Highest I seen is 16 bucks which I lost was bummed about that.

I have a question (Maybe a suggestion?) On Beast and Sit N Crush.

I was wondering if WPN would consider possibly consider breaking these promotions into categories that are based on limits.

Of course this would mean smaller prize pool per category which may not make it look as attractive - However I don't think it would negatively affect the "Total monies paid out for Beast to date" number or Sit N crush number.
In fact it could possibly increase the number due to more Microstakes players having a chance to win some prizes.

Just a baseline to give you a general idea/layout of what I mean would be:

Cash Games:
(Playing in the following category earns you points towards that categories Beast pool)

2NL-10NL
25NL-50NL
100NL+

Beast:
(Not including rake fees)

$5 Buy in games and under
$10-$25 buy in games

I think you get the general idea.

As said above this would give micro stakes players a chance to win some of these promotions and could potentially increase traffic to these micro stakes games.

As it stands now it is nearly impossible (If not impossible)for a player playing less then 10NL to reach the prize in the Beast.

Since the higher games are building more rake and are more likely to be grinding a lot anyways this shouldn't have any negative affect on their traffic. It may take a couple of $$$ from their overall prize pool but they shouldn't be feeling any burn from this type of change.

On the other hand the players with the smaller bankrolls even though would be playing for much smaller prizes since they are attributing less rake will be playing for bank roll bumps and gives much more incentive to put in more grinding hours. Which in returns brings more traffic.

I think Carbon implemented some sort of rake race based on categories for their SNG games awhile back ago.

Edit: Also could possibly throw in a rake race for MTT's too :D lol.

Hey, you changed your profile picture....didn't recognize you....:)

I probably played them all...(I don't try most of the time--just register and push)

But, I played a few seriously early in the week and got a few points accumulated, and then when I seen I might have a chance later in the week, I turned it on the last 24 hrs or so....wasn't hard.

Hi guys,

indeed we had some technical issues that affected the tournament that's why we had to cancel it, our techs are looking into the issue right now to solve it, once is fixed, we will announce what will be done for this tourney.

When are we going to hear about this announcement??

Hi, thanks for the suggestion, and actually is a really valid one, I'm forwarding it to the Product Manager for his consideration, however I must say that we are currently working on several other promotions that have to come first :)
