ya nobody knows right now. it can't be a bad thing i guess?

In and of itself, it doesn't mean anything, as it is only a secondary license. Everything still hinges on the primary license. But I am sure FTP had to pony up some cash to renew it -- hopefully they have / will do the same regarding the money owed to the AGCC -- I take that as positive news.

its a joke, i made close to a million on full tilt and i cant get it now, im sure anyone out there in the high stakes making loads will be extremely annoyed aswell. sitting there for hours 24 7 trying to beat the low stakes because of all the suck outs the donks have so you have to make up for that. anyone who has lost money on it will be annoyed

Dear God. It's even worse than I thought. People can't withdraw their playmoney either!

One of the worst things about having money tied up as a non-American is that, in addition to not being able to access the money, it's being held in American dollars and at the rate the US currency is tanking our balances are becoming worth less and less each day

If it makes you feel any better, the Aussie dollar has been losing value as well... but that probably doesn't make you feel any better.

*shrugs*

On the upside, at the rate we're going we'll be able to buy all of American and probably new zealand too for the price of a bunch of bananas :p

According to the AGCC website the top level of License would only have cost about $130,000 per year so it looks as if they were well behind with payments. Glad to see that they have decided to honour that debt. The first positive sign. FTP, here's an idea, who about emailing all your clients to tell them what's going on officially? The lack of communication is a big part of the problem.

If you do make a 'real' one, be careful you don't set yourself up for a lawsuit of some sort. Seriously though, one can never be too careful, especially during a time when the subject matter is still pretty touchy.

BTW, I quite enjoyed the 'fake' one, and your kids are awesome. :)

thanks for the kind words and the good advice :D I often see TV shows where they actually say they are that person but I would never go that far . still not sure if implying it could get me in trouble , but I have nothing for anyone to take in a lawsuit  the (grand) kids will be happy someone enjoyed their performance :)

This was posted on 2p2 I believe Harry Demetriou.

Things appear to be moving for FTP if very slowly:

"DoJ are responsible for having $140 million of FTP money frozen (they havent actually taken it but FTP cant access it either)

One big obstacle has been overcome in that agreement between Potential Investor, FTP and DoJ regarding fine for FTP is on the verge of completion. (Still does not mean an overall deal has been agreed though regarding player refunds)."

he cites his source as "As for my source(s) I will only say they are from deep inside the FTP camp"
