They don't really have 200k players online, it is that there are 200k players sitting at tables. So if someone is playing 24 tables, they count as 24 players to that count. The number is still higher than what I would assume it would be. For me it is at 151k right now though, US central time ~11am
The tournament entry numbers don't seem to be hurting any (especially earlier in the day (EST) time).
FTP tournament entry numbers are suckin' real bad!!! The nightly $23KOguar. ($75buyin KO's), usually pays out the Top45players with ~350-400+ entrants (held at same time as Midnight Madness mtt). Now it's like the $5,500KO guar. & pays out the top9-12 players. What a joke! Have noticed some names of MTT regs. from canada, who'd previously done decently.... now they're on a ton of final tables (doubt they're hurting from this).
FTP seems like a completely different site now (just thought I'd let the US players know what it's like on there these days). RUSH micro tables are way different from what they were before (although I rarely played them)... now it's like the 5nl tables avg. pot is like .38cents (or it was). By comparison, you can find 2nl tables on 888Poker with avg. pot ~$1. SNG' play is way different now too.

You wanna see a joke PO, move to America. I would almost kill to play at a site that has more than 10K players right now:).

After reading both links my conclusion is that poker being a multi billion dollar indusry operating mostly in the open ie: advertising , tournaments , TV shows etc. with very little goverenment opposition and unclear legislation the government has created the very things they now claim to dislike. It would have made sense to clear up any laws and regulations and avoid the current mess.
On a personal level I hope those responsible for the weaselish attack meet up with a version of themselves in some karmic turn of events.

On full tilt my uncle's account has shut down because in his player information was that he is from USA and he didn't edit that information. He is from Macedonia.

FT cashouts vs. PS cashouts

Both FT and PS are being investigated by the same Justice Department....

Why then would one (PS) tell us that we must cash out all our funds....
and the other (FT) tell us that are funds are tied up at the moment and cannot be touched?

The prevailing theory is that Stars kept players money separate and secure. On the other hand Tilt may have mixed players funds with operating funds. If that is the case than players's money may be caught in the seizure.

Tilt has great intentions, Stars runs a great business.

I don't think that's it at all. From what I understand, according to the laws governing the countries where both operated, the funds had to be kept separate and were.

What appears to be the difference is that PS is more concerned with getting players their funds quickly and worked with DOJ to make it happen, while FT seems more inclined to take a wait-and-see approach as if they're going to fight the charges like AP/UB are doing.

Well, if that's the case, I applaud FT's willingness to mount a vigorous defense, but that shouldn't keep them from working to honor cashout requests. They shouldn't take a "wait and see approach" with other people's money.
