Yes, I would definitely put it all to the WSOP Main Event.

How many times I will have in the future to participate at the wsop Main Event? Probably none.....So, I wouldn't miss the chance.

I see the majority is inclined to play in the main event. As for me, I would play a lot of tournaments with a small buy-in. And it would be even better for me if it is possible, according to the conditions, to withdraw most of the funds and play with the remaining, say, two thousand.

If you were given $10,000 to spend on WSOP event entries, would you put it all toward a single Main Event ticket or enter multiple events with smaller buy-ins and why?
Multiple events. That way, you'd have a better chance of winning more $$$, even if not first place in every event. Putting al your money in one Main Event is a lot riskier, and would be much more difficult to cash in. (IMHO)

I would choose to play several tournaments instead of waiting for the main event, as there are high chances of getting some winnings in multiple events than in main event.

Main event… it’s about the experience.

I would like to play smaller several buy ins. That way I can increase my earning rate. If I play everything in the main event and lose, my cashback will be zero. That’s a way to think and act. But I understand who wanna play everything in the main event.

I would definitely buy multiple entries starting from like 100$ buy-in then a bit more for 200$ and then few tickets for the expensive tournament. It makes no sense to buy just one entry for 10k

I would go for it, I'm probably never going to get to play the main otherwise.

I would play small tournaments, so there is more chance of winning a tournament.

If the brain decides, I would play 5 or 6 events to.try some ITMs. Just to get some money.
But my heart would love to play the main event...

yes I definitely understand the go-for-the-main event answer it's everyone's dream
but I wouldn't even think of playing it unless I had a few hundred thousand.
but to just go wild and play as many tournaments as I wanted would be a dream
for me, I could enjoy a lot of tourneys for $10,000 :giggle:

I would divide it to play about 10 games... makes me less nervous, lowers the variance and gives me more feeling playing such big games :)

To adapt and gain experience, I would play several tournaments with smaller buy-ins, and if I was lucky, then the WSOP would not be a problem.

If this were to happen🤔 it would really be the biggest ME temptation but I would opt to play as much as possible with smaller buy-ins,increasing my chance to stay with something and at the same time I would enjoy these games that I have long dreamed of.

I'd prefer 6-10 smaller events that people mentioned above instead of a Main Event. Smaller fields, more attempts, more chances to win.

Of course, Main Event.
This can be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that must be seized.
No matter how it ends, you have to try it yourself. At least that's what I would do, but there is no such danger :)

This is a really tough question... I mean, there are so many events available during the 6 weeks or so, that it will probably be better playing quite a few other events and try to cash in a few... especially, bankroll management wise it would be way better to play more games instead of 'gambling' everything in one tournament; but, like many other members, I'm pretty sure that I would also choose to play the Main Event instead as this would be a dream come true and you never know if this might be 'the one time'...

Being able to take part in the WSOP Main Event once was and will continue to be the "icing on the cake"!

On the one hand, this is because this tournament is closely linked to my first steps in poker (MONEYMAKER EFFECT).

On the other hand, I never thought about playing many smaller events during the WSOP, as this would mean being there for the duration of the WSOP.

I had categorically ruled that out until now, as if I were to raise the sum of $10,000, I certainly wouldn't have the additional costs for more than a week. After all, the flight from Europe and accommodation costs are additional.

I'd go with the lower entry mixed games or limit game events with way less people in them.

I'm not a big fan of the the low entry events because they're really like circuit events with the rebuys but they give a lot of people a chance to play in the WSOP which is great and with such huge fields, you get huge payout so they're great for fans and the WSOP.
