I would definitely play more different tournaments.
The amount of stakes per tournament would be 10% of the total fund I have at my disposal as long as this is possible.
I consider it illogical to invest $10,000 in one tournament and have a balance of $0 on the account, because the pressure on the player would be great and he would not have the opportunity to play relaxedly with a feeling for the card. And not to mention the bluff.

If you were given $10,000 to spend on WSOP event entries, would you put it all toward a single Main Event ticket or enter multiple events with smaller buy-ins and why?
Hi :)
I would definitely divide this money into parts and I would take part in many events. I am not used to playing risky and therefore I always prefer to diversify risks.

I would participate in several events with smaller buy-ins. In this way, I think I could increase my chances of real profit :)

I would play multiple tournaments including a HORSE, Omaha, 2-7 single draw and Razz tourney. I haven't played any of these live, but would like to.

For sure I will choose to play wsop online event. I feel better to play from home.
Only hold-em.
Mystery bounty and PKO will be my favorites because we can cash without waiting paid place.
Maybe High roller 3,200 too.

I would rather play in several smaller tournaments, it would give me more experience than playing in one big tournament.

i would split the money and try to play with it as many events as possible , so as to have many chances , even if it means going after mini cashes . better win sth from a small event rather win nothing in the main event . going after the big win and dream wont re-pay one day , this applies everywhere live or online . and i think in 10k $$ events the difficulcy is higher with so many pros , especially in the main event . and these guys have many bullets , so they can be more aggressive when i would be more passive .

I wouldn't risk spending everything on the main event. I think I would be smarter and participate in several events with smaller buy-ins :)

I would only play the main event, it is the most important tournament in the world and the one that everyone wants to win. It would be a great experience to play it

I would play early in series like last week and this week and would go for games with $1500 and under buy in. There are multiple $1500 PLO and PLO8 and some great value NLH games like the mystery millions and the gladiator. I tend to be more lucky at Omaha than Holdem.

The more games I can squeeze out of it the better the chance of winning something and also better to have 2-3 weeks run than play just 1 single game for the amount. It would give me more experience and chances to learn and have fun than putting pressure on myself of just having one chance at one game.

I would participate in several events with smaller buy-ins. Why ? ...... Because it would increase my chances of winning at least some money. Maybe it looks quite banal, but I'm very practical :)

If I had that opportunity, I could divide the money in a few games, because I would have more possibilities to make a good run in an event. BUT when I have the chance to participate in such a top event, I think I would go all the money straight to a main event or to the main event, so that to have that experience!

I would definitely play several small tournaments with lower buy-ins at the WSOP. I would spend a total of 8000 dollars there and 2000 for travelling expenses. That way I have several chances to win a bracelet and not just one chance at the main event. I can also enjoy the live feeling in Vegas for longer. If I'm lucky enough to have a big cash of 10,000 dollars or more in the small tournaments, I can still play the main event.

10.000$ in WSOP entries, thats quite a lot - for me its easy to answer because i would never play the main event if i have my first chance to play
live WSOP events ever. So i would split it round about 5 or 6 events, 3 or 4 with NL holdem and the rest Omaha PL/NL.
If there is chance to qualify for main event by a satellite then i would give it also a try.

Would definitely invest one ticket in one.
And then I was proud, all my life, that I participated in the main event for 10K

Absolutely multiple events with smaller buy-ins. I've played enough poker to know that no matter how good you are, bad things happen all the time. So why put all your eggs in one basket?

For that reason alone, the pressure will be much less. I can take some risks knowing that if I lose, there's another event that I can play. I can change up my strategies with a whole new field of players and a fresh perspective.

Finally, the main event attracts the really good players. Breaking News Alert - I'm not in their league, not even close.

Imagine booking your flights and a hotel, only to bust out of the main event on day one. The shame of it all. No, that's not for me.

Definitely the Main Event since I've never played it before and it's every tournament player's dream. That's just not an opportunity I could pass up. If I had played in the ME before, I very may well pick some other games, and choose different games. I would definitely try my hand at a PLO8 event.

I think I woult spend the money on several minor tournaments, using the 10000 with efficient bankroll management. This is my chance to play at a higher level

Definitely not the Main Event - way too large and way too many people! :D
I would play the smaller (1000 to 2000 $) non-Holdem Events, especially the Razz, Badugi and both 2-7 events. :)
