Hello!:ciao:

Here are some questions for Courtney:

You beat Amanda Baker in the 2016 championship. Did you meet again after that at the poker tables?
Do you have a membership in the Poker Hall of Fame? If not, would you like to join the Poker Hall of Fame?
Are you still playing?
Do your loved ones share your passion for poker? What would you recommend to girls playing poker?
Do you have an idol among professional poker players?

For Courtney, I saw where you were a poker dealer before your win, do you still deal poker and if so, have you ever worn your bracelet dealing and what are the comments when you do?

Courtney Kennedy
Q: If you could dedicate your life to solving one problem, what problem would you choose?
Q: What scrambles your brain every time you think about it and why?
Q: If you could go back in time to change one thing, what would it be?
Q: What was the best phase in your life?
Q: What one thing could you not go a day without and why?

Q: What is the most surprising thing you encountered after winning the bracelet?

-Do you play online poker? If yes, what is your favorite poker room?
-What do you usually do before a major tournament, do you have any rituals or habits that help you before the game?
-As you know, it is impossible to always win. Tell me, do you scold yourself after losing?
-Will we see you again at the WSOP table? Do you want to repeat your triumph?
- Do you have any pets? If so, which ones?
-What cuisine do you prefer? What's your favourite dish?

Looking forward to hearing from you all :)

I noticed you even read a question from a member that wasn't directed at Courtney Kennedy. And my questions? It seems to me that there is a certain preference for some people.

Hi acidburnfx -- good to directly interact with you here. If I used a question for Courtney that wasn't directed at her, it was an unintentional mistake, and please accept my sincere apologies."

I can assure you that there is absolutely no "preferential treatment" whatsoever as far as picking questions to use that are submitted here by the Cardschat community.

Here are some "factors" though:

1) If a question is already "covered/asked" in the first segment of the show -- i.e., my own preparation or happens to come up in conversation, I obviously wouldn't ask it again in the second (audience) segment.

2) It is certainly nice to occasionally see "new names"; i.e., members submitting questions for the first time, so I do try to make the extra effort to ensure they're included when relevant.

3) So as to include as many different individuals as possible -- I'll endeavor to make sure we get (for example) one question in from person A and one question in from person B, rather than ask both questions submitted by person A and none from person B.

4) Each interviewee is different -- some speak slower and some speak faster... thus having an impact on how much time we have to ask questions from the community. Quite often I have to skip many of my own prepared questions for this reason.

5) Some interviewees have strict time constraints, while with others we can speak a little longer -- again, affecting the number of questions I can manage to squeeze in.

Thank you again so much for your inquiry here and I hope you found my answer helpful. Looking forward to seeing more creative and great questions from you -- and ALL of you guys! -- in the future :)

Hello, Robbie! :ciao:
Can I clarify: when will Kennedy's podcast appear on the Cardschat YouTube channel? I see that the video has already appeared and it will be very interesting for me to watch it, but unfortunately I can watch videos with a translation into Russian only on the Youtube channel:(

Hi Chica_bonita

I unfortunately don't have an exact update on that, but hopefully within the coming days. The video takes longer to "process" than the audio version. We will also have ep 68 with Brian Hastings not yet on the YouTube channel, but hopefully in the very near future as well.

Wishing you a warm "dobre vyecher" from Israel :)

It's fine, Robbie! With a condition: For every member who sends you at least one question during the final community question session, you will have to turn a cup of vodka. It's for the greater good. Let's put a little more action on this podcast via Youtube.

Who agrees like it! lol :D

Very cool to see you in the thread here Robbie - it's always so cool to get to hear you ask the questions myself and others want to know from the guests.

Not to put you on the spot at all...but I have two questions for you:
1) What interview has been your favourite to date?
2) When are YOU going to be the guest on the podcast??

Thanks for such positive feedback CRStals! Very sincerely appreciated!

It's honestly very tough to pick a favorite... sounds cliche, but I can't just pick one, lol. Literally off the top of my head just now I can think of at least 10 of them that I absolutely loved... and many others that were "unexpectedly more awesome than I though they would be". It's also especially cool to sometimes get to have a first-ever conversation with someone who I only know up till that point via social media.... I always feel so much "closer" to each guest after an hour long in depth conversation with them.

I record the interviews in a closed room and bar none, every single time I walk out of there my wife tells me I'm bouncing and look so happy... so, if that doesn't tell you just how much I enjoy hosting the show and getting to have these conversations, then nothing will, haha

As for your second question, lol, that would be unique and cool, but who would host?

Oh, that's a really good idea!:icon_thum
Why don't you become a podcast guest yourself? I agree with CRStals! Why do you need a separate presenter? I think you can handle it yourself.
For example, in the 100th issue, you could just record your video where you would answer questions addressed to you. As a kind of monologue consisting of answers to the questions of the participants of the card chat.

Here are some questions for Ryan Leng:

1. Ryan, you have already taken 2nd and 4th places in the WSOP. The victory was very close, but alas. How did you feel then? Were you satisfied with your result then?
2. When you knocked Jay Farber out of the competition, you understood that in any case you would leave either 1 or 2. Were you ready to leave second? Would you be satisfied with such a result?
3. In the final hand against Ranno Sootla, when you collected a straight on the flop, were you sure of winning? Did you feel that it was a victory, or were there any concerns?
4. Ranno Sootla beat out quite a lot of players, do you think it played better than you? Did you see him as a worthy opponent?
5. You played very aggressively at the final table. Do you always play like this or does it depend on the circumstances?
6. Do you go to tournaments alone or are you accompanied by one of your friends or relatives? Who supports you? Are your relatives rooting for you?
7. Was your victory in WOSP dedicated to anyone?
8. There are players who have made donations in the amount of their winnings or part of it. How did you manage your winnings?
9. You have participated in many tournaments since 2011. Do you remember how many there were? Which tournament did you remember the most? How many wins have there been since you won the bracelet?

Thank you! :girl:

Podcast Questions for Ryan Leng.

Thank you Ryan for taking the time to answer our members podcast questions.

1. Have you made any changes at all to your game in the past year following WSOP 2021 (for the record, i admire your honesty and your play v Jungleman and i truly feel karma is going to pay you back with a massive score soon!).
2. Being a poker coach yourself, what gives you the most pleasure with regards to observing player development as a result of your help?
3. Of your 3 bracelets and 4 rings, are there any of those wins that stand out for you in terms of memorable moments or particular great plays you made en route?
4. With todays current online poker market and with so many high value tournaments available, to play - do you have a particular preference with what you play?
5. What do you like to do outside of Poker Ryan, do you follow sports or have any other hobbies?

Best Wishes

Glenn
