For Ryan:

Which one of your wsop bracelet or ring wins do you remember the most or have the most meaning?
At what point did you decide that poker was your 'day job'?
Is there anyone (or group of people) who helped you achieve success in poker or have you made your own success?
Which poker room is your favourite?
Do you have a preference between online and live poker?
Since you have a definite love for hockey, do you play any rec hockey? and which NHL team is your favourite?
What's something you have been meaning to try but just haven't gotten around to?

Thanks for such positive feedback CRStals! Very sincerely appreciated!

It's honestly very tough to pick a favorite... sounds cliche, but I can't just pick one, lol. Literally off the top of my head just now I can think of at least 10 of them that I absolutely loved... and many others that were "unexpectedly more awesome than I though they would be". It's also especially cool to sometimes get to have a first-ever conversation with someone who I only know up till that point via social media.... I always feel so much "closer" to each guest after an hour long in depth conversation with them.

I record the interviews in a closed room and bar none, every single time I walk out of there my wife tells me I'm bouncing and look so happy... so, if that doesn't tell you just how much I enjoy hosting the show and getting to have these conversations, then nothing will, haha

As for your second question, lol, that would be unique and cool, but who would host?
I don't doubt it's hard to pick your favorite especially given how genuinely excited you are in each podcast so ill ask a slightly different question. Which interview was your most awkward?

As for question 2, I'm sure there is someone who could guest host the podcast to interview you. Or maybe someone from the CardsChat forum could....

To follow up with this for Ryan, what were your thought processes behind that fold?

Q: If you could dedicate your life to solving one problem, what problem would you choose?
Q: What scrambles your brain every time you think about it and why?
Q: If you could go back in time to change one thing, what would it be?
Q: What was the best phase in your life?
Q: What one thing could you not go a day without and why?

For Ryan:
Q: What was your favorite hockey player growing up?
Q: You had an amazing 2021 WSOP - what was different in your preparation and lead-up to the series that resulted in the success you had?
Q: All of your big wins have come in the US - have you had the desire to play internationally in some of the other big series and if yes, where's the first place you want to play?
Q: You took offense to the term lucky loser when referring to the situation that unfolded at the Australian Open. What do you think would be a better term for that?
Q: Your biggest run in the main event came in 2017 finishing 41st. What do you recall about being the most difficult aspect of making that deep run?

We just announced that we are starting a CardsChat podcast:

CardsChat is Launching a Podcast!

This thread is where you submit questions to ask podcast guests questions that we will answer during our weekly podcasts.

We will let you know in advance when we have a guest you can submit questions for.

Here are some ideas of questions you can submit that would be considered:

Guests - you can submit questions about their experiences in poker, strategy questions, what they are currently involved in - and just about anything you want to know about them.

What's the best thing to do when you are going through a long losing streak ? I'm losing alot lately and I'll cash but min cash and then lose 6 more tournaments then min cash

LOL, oops :) I legit forgot.... kind of a lot of plates spinning when I conduct the interviews and the LAST thing I'm thinking about is "drinking on the job" HAHAHA. But I'll try to remember at some point. Hope you enjoyed the show!

Hello, Robbie! :ciao:
Can I clarify: when will Kennedy's podcast appear on the Cardschat YouTube channel? I see that the video has already appeared and it will be very interesting for me to watch it, but unfortunately I can watch videos with a translation into Russian only on the Youtube channel:(

Hi Chica_bonita

I unfortunately don't have an exact update on that, but hopefully within the coming days. The video takes longer to "process" than the audio version. We will also have ep 68 with Brian Hastings not yet on the YouTube channel, but hopefully in the very near future as well.

Wishing you a warm "dobre vyecher" from Israel :)
As Robbie said it all depends on how quickly the videos get put together. I am hoping that we have hit a stride and that they will be ready right away for each episode. Today's for example was ready to publish today, along with the podcast everywhere. So we're hoping that is feasible going forward.

Thanks for such positive feedback CRStals! Very sincerely appreciated!

I LOVE this. It just goes to show that we have the right person for the job!

Now acidburn, quit trying to get Robbie drunk!

I just don't know how it usually happens, so I asked.
I've already watched the Courtney episode. I really liked her simplicity in communication and humor. :)
And Robbie voiced a few of my questions: it was great!

Hello! :ciao:
I do not know if I can ask about it here, but if I may, I will ask:
I would like to watch the very first podcast with Jeff Gross, but I didn't find it on the Cardschat channel on YouTube. :(
Will it be published or can I get a link, in case I just didn't notice it.
Thank you in advance for the answer.:flowers:

Unfortunately we didn't start recording with video until Lynn Gilmartin (episode #7), so I am afraid that (for now) it will not be published on YouTube.

It may be possible at a later date to add all the first episodes if we can get the audio placed in video format, with just some background images. But I cannot promise anything.

Podcast Questions for Johnnie Vibes Moreno

Thank you Johnnie ofr participating in one of our Cardschat podcasts and for giving up your time to answer members questions, my questions are as below:

3. What interests do you have outside of the work you do - other than poker?
4. If you could hand pick a final table - who would you have on there and why? I appreciate you are essentially a cash game player so please pick who you feel would be your toughest adversary's in this respect.
5. What do you get personally from sharing/airing your Vlogs on You Tube?
6.What is your personal favourite Casino to play live at?

Hello!:ciao:

Questions for Johnnie "Vibes" Moreno:
1. Johnnie, you were nominated for the Global Poker Awards. How did it affect you? Were you upset that the award was not given to you? Do you think Brad Owen deserved to win?
2. You are in the spotlight before the upcoming WSOP 2019. There were a lot of negative reviews about you. Don't you think the shares ratio was really high? How did you react to the fact that Daniel Negreanu then put up his shares without extra charge?
3. Tell us more about the bet made with Shaun Deeb? Was it a marketing ploy for PR or did you want to show that you are a worthwhile player?
4. Many people today consider you a successful poker entrepreneur. How did you achieve this? Do you consider yourself a successful poker entrepreneur?
5. I see you very often in bright hoodies. Is this your special style?
6. Veronica Brill launched a fundraiser for a car for Kenneth Clayton. You donated $10,000. This is a very good sum and a very noble act. Why did you decide to participate in this gathering? Was that your only act of this kind? Tell us if you have done similar things before or after.
7. You blog on YouTube, like some other players. Tell me, is there any race among you (something like who has more subscribers)? Do you follow the channels of other poker players? Is there someone whose channel you watch regularly? Are you looking up to someone?
8. Do you have a poker idol?
9. Do you have pets? if so, tell us in more detail.
10. Where do you think you have succeeded more: in live poker or in online poker?

Thank you! :girl:

Sorry, I thought I read through everyone's questions and must have missed it somewhere. (Still can't find it )
Sometimes the window for gathering questions is small. All depends on when we get word that they are scheduled, and when they're going to do the interview.
