So the things you are looking for are?? I'm thinking, have position on him obv, and him to have a high limpcall%, high fold to cbet%, and maybe low AF?? The other stats that spring to mind would be if someone has a high donkbet% mixed with a high fold to donkbet raise% i guess.
How many hands do you like to have on someone before you start isoing wider on villains??
It's something you should try literally the 1st time they limp and you have the button. Look we all know that people who open limp suck, as a sweeping generalization (yes there are reasons for it but basically at micros they all suck). So when you see them limp and you're garenteed position (you have the btn), raise! It will let you learn a few things or at least begin to before stats even begin to tell the tale. 1st note if they limp-call or limp-fold, most will limp-call cause folding is no fun. Then note how they play the flop. If you miss and they call your flop cbet try to get to SD (as in don't keep barreling the 1st time) to learn if they called your bet with less than TP. Even 1 hand is often enough to tell you how you should be playing against this opponent.
Getting a bad player's money quickly is often the only chance you have because it's all they have and they won't keep it long. Waiting for stats to converge takes too long. I want it now. Don't wait for stats against unknowns, assume they're horrible and act accordingly.
Note: Same way with stealing. Steal until they stop you, don't wait to know they won't stop you before you start stealing.
