Nick and mods, I'm certainly willing to be a little patient, and understand there may be things that can't be said.
However, several of the best cash game posters are threatening to leave - these are guys that I read no matter what the topic is - several of the best haven't said anything yet, but for the sake of keeping the quality of discussion in this forum high, I think it's important to say something substantive relatively quickly.
I hate seeing the community fragmented like this and hope something can be said very soon.

, one or two others). None of us has any thought of going anywhere, as far as I know. CC will be just fine.

Mine is probably a little lower hence I'd have less variance but its still frightening none the less.
If you want to be picky over my accuracy I'd suggest mentioning how there is only ten samples.
Yeah, (1/3)^2 is 1/9 obv, but it's actually much worse than that. You said you could have a losing/break even 100k streak 1/3 of the time, and so you could have a 200k losing/break even streak 1/9 of the time. But you will have that much more often.
You only counted the times where you have a negative 100k stretch twice in a row. But what if you have a negative 100k stretch and then a marginally positive 100k stretch? It could still be negative. Or if you start off break even or slightly positive and then finish the month terribly you could have a losing month. In the end, you'll probably have a losing month about 20% of the time.

Well this may be the kick up the ass we all need.
Time to stop sponging knowledge off the likes of Zach and get down to some serious poker study and play.

OK, it`s a reasonable concern. I`m just asking people not to get too excited.
I have met Olivier (BelgoSuisse) in real life, and consider him a good chap, but if he wants to go, he can do that as far as I am concerned. This community is bigger than any individual.
