how to know that our post is qualitative..?
This rule is that you do not do SPAM: It actively participates in the rooms and discusses without offending and always wanting to help other users.
What is a Quality Post?
We get asked this question a lot. Hopefully this thread will give you a good understanding of what we are looking for when we say quality post.
A quality post:
Will be relevant/on-topic and add value to the thread it is posted in.
Is something you put time, effort and thought into and does not appear to be posted with the intent of increasing your post count.
Should be well-worded and easily understood.
Contains good grammar and proper punctuation.
Will be interesting and encourage more discussion in the thread.
Will be in good legible English - this is an English only forum.
Will not be in all caps.
Every post you make does not have to meet all of the criteria above - but should meet most of it. If your post is a thread-starter ensure that the thread title clearly states the topic, is in good English and not in all caps.
Read the first post in a thread before you post in it - and if not too long read the posts already in it. If it is a long thread with a lot of posts in it - at least take the time to read some of the most recent posts as well as the 1st post.
Short one liners, posts begging for passwords, "good luck", "yes", "agree", and any post that appears to be posted just for the sake of increasing post count are all examples of posts that could be deleted for being low quality posts.
Posts that we disregard when looking for both quantity and quality are any posts in the Introduction forum, the Joke of the Day thread and those in any of the foreign language threads.
If you are trying to qualify for Freeroll passwords - take your time and don't be in a hurry. You need at least a 30 day recent posting history for the Freeroll Club - that means that in the past 30 days you have made a reasonable number of posts every week. We don't let anyone in early so there is no rush.
****Don't forget that your quality posting and reasonable activity must continue after you gain access to the passwords - you can be removed with no notice if the quality of your posting decreases. (Reasonable activity means an average of approximately 3-4 quality posts weekly over a period of time).
I hope this helps - happy posting!
