Sure, yw. I hope there's something there that can help. It's not one of the easier topics to discuss in forums. :)

All good, I appreciate that. Yea, most things I want to discuss fall into the category of "not one of the easier topics to discuss in forums."

I get coached and study more than most people work, it's just hard to apply the knowledge for some reason.

Plus with the amount that I put into poker a lot of it goes in and doesn't get absorbed so that could be a problem as well.

Heck, probably over half of the stuff I know... I can't even use..... I catch myself Leveling A LOT... is that a common problem? or one that's easily fixed?

Do You play seriously or proffesionally?

I play seriously. Not professionally. I have a job. I'm a quality technician for an orthopedic company. I do however make on average around 30-40% of what my salary at my company is per year playing 1/3 and 2/5 cash games Live. I have decided to start adding some $150+ buy in tourneys live to my reg. schedule and hopefully will make some deep runs in a few and get to the point where I can pad my roll and have some results to get my name out and help with staking purposes. So that I can stop working for the company and work for myself.

For now though it's constant study, challenges, goals, and saving.

very bad reg. I'm not sure about this call though. his shove is bluffy but at the same time it looks for protection. think the call is a bit too loose

Yeah, I think you can flip a coin on this one getting 2:1. It's so read dependent here. Based on what you're saying, it's likely a call, but this is opinion only because you don't completely know his defined range yet. But he could have complete air, Tx, Ax, and draw. If you punch that up, it's a call. So it just completely depends how often you think he jams air and Tx.

Looks fine. Nut flush + top pair. I mean Ax isn't in your range. If he's bad, doubt he's thinking second or third level here. If you punch up his range, you're ahead.

Good approach. Take your time. And this group does have a google study group also. I'd recommend checking it out as well.

This seems like a perfect example of why playing OOP sucks!
**I don't know what I'm talking about!** bet sizing seems ok for flop and turn, but do you really expect low stakes rando to be able to get away from a hand? for me a smaller river bet, maybe half to 2/3rds has equal chance of success, for less risk. but honestly, I think that by time you get to the river, you've lost already! c/f

This month's PLO graph

Thought I'd share this here - as I am very proud of myself. I am posting another graph of mine - this one, though, is entirely from PLO. I begun learning this game some time ago, but only now (starting late September) decided to play rather seriously. The number of hands is tiny, because I am mostly 2-tabling. However, I am focusing on the quality of my play rather than quantity.

Since the beginning of my study year I have not had too much time to play, so PLO appears to be the game for me now, as the site on which I play does not have too much action on it anyhow.

I hope you enjoy looking at this as much as I do, haha.

W/o history, you have a pretty narrow range of hands that bets the turn and then pounds the river. You're looking at TT/QQ/22. So it's not the best spot really. I'm glad you're trying it, but the best spots are when you know your opponents range is super weak, and the board keeps getting scarier.

pre &flop seems fine I think, I''ve started to defend loose from BB & see more flop than 3betting a lot.
on turn we can go for bluff catching vs AK,AA,Kx but I felt like I was ahead & wanted to charge draws. On river I think it should be a call. Vs a weak player we can shove but vs a reg I think it's a call

Unsure whether to Cbet flop, I think he calls with everything on that board so decided to check flop, easy turn bet with the extra equity but I'm still not sure whether to fire river here against a loose player like this. I think my hand just looks too much like AK and he's going to call with any pair.

Do we thin V bet here? Both are fish. BB seemed a bit on tight side. SB is very spewy. Both look like chesing gutshots or calling down a pair

very aggro reg, 5bet jammed 7s SB 3way previously vs my 4bet bluff A5s. I was thinking he would bet this large with trips on flop. We can't call down profitably as well I think vs his aggression

New member here. Trying to up my game. Playing in the US means live games only pretty much. I'm currently reading a book on poker math . I'd really be interested in joining in these conversations. It'd be great to have someone to talk to who actually knew something. I'm just bluffing my way through. Any way Hi
