Yeah that is a shocking call with bottom pair. Whether I try to bluff is usually linked to my table image. Tight then bluff, loose then give up, here your Ace high will beat busted draws on occasion so if they have any sort of high wtsd just don't bluff.
The AK looks like a good disciplined fold. You're right there's too many flushes & straights around for anything but the nuts to be doing this.
Available for sweats later today after work.
I agree with exploiting your image when
bluffing and value betting. I played an interesting hand yesterday but I don't have the history because I neglected to start the CC before loading the tables.
I had a reasonable hand in the BB and there were two limpers in the first hand I played. I make it 6x and get two folds, nice. I was going to close the table the next hand so I could get my hud up but I get JJ in the sb. Again there are two limpers and it's only the second hand I've played. Again I 6x and the BB calls and so does the btn. The flop comes 10, low, low all spades, i have the J of spades. I bet 3/4 of the pot, the BB flats and the btn shoves the rest of what was almost a full stack. I'm happy to boogie with this one, I shove. He had J10 and I stacked him. I'm sure he was a fish but I think that me 6xing the first two
hands played a part in his decision to not believe I had a strong hand.
I'll keep my skype open. Me and Yoshiaki were planning to look at some spots this afternoon. We can all link up.
