My biggest leak: Regret of not being in the hand I had the best winning cards.🫤😟

The plug: Winner of that hand trying to intimidate me by overbetting, just to steal the pot and ultimately my hand holds in the showdown and regaining my regret lost chips.👍👍

In live gaming, my weakness at the table is a friendly table. Get me chatting, laughing, and smiling with a fun table, and I turn into a loose calling machine lol. If I play my game and play it right, I believe I can do well in just about any tournament. I can be patient at the tables and I have the endurance for it. I've learned to blow off losses or bad beats. Though, I can sometimes become too aggressive in spots where I shouldn't be. So, I would just really need to maintain my focus and keep the goal line in sight.

I can be very tight with bigger stakes, I always have to pay attention to that.
But in a competition of this size, patience is also important, so the point is to use the opportunities wisely, luck will either be with me or not. :)

My biggest hole would be to survive the time difference to germany and not be tired but wide awake to play the best poker. Furthermore, not to play too aggressively.

I would therefore want to be there a few days in advance to get used to the time difference. To not be too aggressive I just have to take my time and think about every hand. You have the time, which is not always the case with online poker.

My biggest leak would be that i would be i have never played live poker, and maybe it would be my first time of playing and at the same time a high stakes tournament. I would take a lot of time getting used to the game, but patience is the key, i am going to try and follow preflop starting hands range so that i dont get into difficult situations more often.

My biggest leak would be playing too tight in certain situations and not pulling the trigger even though my read on the hand tells me otherwise and if I am ever lucky enough to play the main event, I am sure that would be an issue for me.

I'm going with I cant "math" the chips..surely they will figure out I'm a newbie....yikes. So maybe I will just play dumb and hope the dealer gets it....sometimes people are on your side and you don't even realize for a moment.

My biggest leak is my wife suddenly finding an interest in me just as I am running deep. It happens without fail.

How do I plug this leak? I guess sit out for a minute and come back, only to find out I folded aces twice.

Wear the red ballcap (MAGA) & you won't have to worry about them finding out later on.

For myself, I worry about loved ones back at home too much... or at least to the point where I get homesick real fast & don't even want to be there any longer.

The leak could be playing many hands, because of the enthusiasm for being in such an event. The cure is to be more patient, careful and enjoy the game!

My biggest leak would be impatience. I would need to remind myself that this is a marathon, not a dash, and to muck marginal starting hands and pay attention to other players and gain info. This would allow me to play premium hand aggressively with little opposition.

Really if I win a ticket and get to play in a main event it will be a dream come true and I'll be playing pretty tight and I'm worried that will be my biggest leak. Hopefully as the game progresses and after the first hour I can relax and just play my game the way I play without worrying and take advantage of every single situation that is in my favor.

My biggest leak is underestimating the willingness of my opponent to repeatedly make progressively bigger calls with small hands. I've seen it time and again at the lower stakes. I'm totally repping the best hand in the most convincing way possible, and yet my opponent keeps calling. It's clear he's chasing after a flush, but he also has little something else in terms of a made hand. Bet-call, bet-call, bet-???

I've always assumed that once I made it to the wsop this type of wanton disregard for the odds would magically disappear. But here I am sitting in an overcooled poker room in Vegas across from the same sort of guy I've played against all my life. He clearly does't mind risking going home early just to prove some kind of point that I'll never understand.

So we hit the river. My straight draw completes and his pair of aces/ace-hi flush draw doesn't. Check-bet-call. He knows my leak. I know his. Only difference is I get to stay in this overcooled room and he gets to go have a drink at the poolside bar.

For me some times i play just a little to aggressive so i would have to slow it down and tighten things up and hope that i stay patient enough to go deep!

remain focused and remain patient. i am generally very good at doing that, but with the crazy long blind levels in the main, it might challenge me. but as long as i realize that and stay focused and patient, then its up to the poker gods as far as card luck i guess lol.

I would probably have problems with my confidence to play against pros. I have to be honest and say that i don't have a fix to it.
I just would play very nit and try to go ITM.

The worst thing is to lose control over the game. Can't afford for myself to lose rationality and start to play on emotions.

Probably the pressure of such an event, if it were for the first time, could prevent me from making the best or correct decisions. So I would say that would be my biggest weakness, the pressure of such a grandiose event that I don't know if I will ever have the opportunity to play it again

This is a really great question but sadly my leak did happen at this years WSOP.

For me it would be to slow down the game in big situations. While I have vastly improved in this situation it still shows it ugly head.

So what do I mean by slowing down the situation. When your in a big hand and someone goes all in, even though you have the virtual nuts you should not react right away but really look over the situation and really make sure you have the hand you think you have. This year I mis-read the board. I raise and called a 3 bet with Kings and flopped the top set on K 8 3 rainbow. the turn was a bit scarier but I still had the virtual nut and the rive did complete a very odd backdoor straight but that did not logically make sense with the action of the hand. What I did not do was stop and double read the board. Back door flush. I never saw it and I was not the only one who did not at the table either.

i would be so afraid of getting out of line that id keep folding. i would wait for the perfect hand in a great position and it wouldnt come . then id be down to a short stack , and lose to bad luck or an unavoidable set up hand . not too much to do about it though as the blinds always catch up to you in a big field MTT. the alternative is to gamble more , but then you risk a poor decision and regret that choice even more !

My biggest problem is I have what is called a "Mike matusow moment." I can play great for hours but all of a
sudden I do something completely stupid and lose any money I have won, and more. Tried to stop doing it, the annoying
thing is I know I am doing it but I just can't stop myself :(
