I do listen to music while I play where there's live poker or online. It keeps me very calm and keeps me very focused on what the task is at hand sometimes in the life can be for all the shutdowns I would listen to music cuz sometimes people would stay stupid stuff and and it's my way to say I don't want to hear you right now. I like it better online cuz no one bothers you about whether you listen to earphones and music or not kind of funny that when I was playing in pub poker league they were complain about that but yet you go to a casino you're playing for a lot more money a lot more so steak and no one seems a bother someone over it. Just it just seems very funny to me that's all but the answer the question I like listening to music keeps me very calm and focused I should be doing it more then I have been.

I usually play with around 9/10 of my friends and the start of the game can get pretty loud - especially since it’s probably the only time we all see each other. I usually have just the one headphone in at this point so I can chat but stay in my own zone.

I am a musician though and I listen to music every second I can. I honestly think it helps me play better because it keeps me chill instead of rising up to a frustrating play or searching on the river. Just me personally though 🤷🏻*♂️

Music is definitely a must for me. I prefer Lo-Fi Hip-Hop playlists that can really let me zone out and get into a groove. For me, it needs to be something relaxing, something that can let me center myself when I have to make tough decisions.

i listen to music during online playing it helps me focus and it also helps me pass time, really helps when im deep and your just waiting on hand,

but there are times i really dont want to listen to music, so i put a video on the side or the tv to watch something while playing, just makes time go by faster and doesnt make me play terrible by limpin some 'okay' hands. lol.

I sometimes pause the music for "big hands" but like calm background music, piano, classical or audiobooks for longer term playing like Sunday tourneys. That said, I often play Saturday night cash games with a few beers, snacks and some rock from Youtube!

Yep, tends to help. Sometimes also have the tv but this can distract from the game. Music is good though to help keep attention in long games where you may get bored.

You can also launch some training video or stream instead of music, for example.
Or a movie (TV series)

I usually listen to the music while playing freerolls but once I get ITM or final table, when I have to concentrate a bit more, I sometimes pause the player.
