The Nationals have owned us this year, but we did manage to get them today...My man Joey Votto hit 3 homers, and a double including a walkoff grandslam! Makes me glad I didnt give up after the long rain delay!

Niemann out at least a month with broken bone. everybody is getting banged up ....still early. Its gonna be the year of the who has the better AAA players.

I make it down about 15-20 a year....some I win for free at work, but most I just buy and I can get good seats in the upper deck for under $20, and for parking, I just park across the river at Newport on the Levee just down from the ballpark and take the Northern Kentucky Southbank Shuttle bus right to the ballpark....only $3 bucks for the bus and nothing to park if you show a stub from a mall merchant. And its about 20 miles to get there. Lots to do at the Levy too, so I can usually make a day of it..with JOhnny Rockets, Toby Keith's I Love This Bar(across from the ballpark) and some other places. Im not a spring chicken myself, but I love going to the game!

Rough game yesterday ythelongface, 4-0 lead at one time and blew it big.

I hope to be at the Reds/Indians game on June 20th as me and of my friends are trying to organize a mini baseball road trip. I also should be at the Reds/Brewers game on July 20th and July 21st.

Yeah. That sucked pretty bad...It looks for sure the game is locked up and then things just completely fell apart. Hope you bring home some winners for us in July!

It was so sick last night how the Reds hit 3 straight home runs, and the same guy caught the first 2! Plus, the first home run was by Mike Leake, who is a pitcher and it was his first career home run! The guy who caught his home run is giving him his ball back which is awesome.

Crazy thing is, the third homer was just 3 rows behind him lol! Kid did the honorable thing too and gave the first ball back to Leake as it was his first major league homerun.

Too bad the winning streak is over, but still in 1st with the Cardinals losing!

We have a stretch of playing some weak teams in the future (Rockies 2 more, then the Pirates, Astros, and Pirates again)...hoping we can take advantage and be 8 or 9 over on June 7th.

Tampa Bay tapped a power bat with the 25th pick of the 2012 First-Year Player Draft by selecting Clemson third baseman Richie Shaffer.

Shaffer, 21, stands 6-foot-3, 210 pounds and has played third base in addition to first for the Clemson Tigers.

Reds are red hot heading into the second 3 game series with the Indians(6 on a row, 4 game lead in the division)...and added bonus the starting pitcher tonight Derrick Lowe and Reds manager Dusty Baker dont care for each other...They both said some things about each other that were not terribly polite but Baker went a bit too far when he suggested Lowe may not remember what he said about him because he was probaby drinking at the ballpark! LOl! Match is lit, now lets get the dynamite!
